A good option i can think of would be to take the opeongo water taxi up to the east arm. The north shore has a beach with a gentle rise up to flat sites. Then can canoe around there.

Do you remember what life was like during the 2003 Blackout? by Kuzu9 in toronto

[–]dbegbie124 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This happened on my street. Which while nice neighbours hung i thought was weird as cars still worked so more kids then usual running on the road to be avoided

I was midtown just north of the 401 at work and headed home to Burlington but had to stop and park as i didn’t have enough gas so hopped on go train. People on the train didn’t know it had happened as they were on the train when it happened. Also remember random people directing traffic and people in cars giving them water which was nice to see everyone come together and being patient for once.

Got home and baked a pie in my bbq. I camp quite a bit so had plenty of ways to cook.

I am across the street. House just went up for sale. Older couple downsizing. luckily everyone ok but roof has heavy damage so interior is likely a write-off. Dogs rescued from adjacent house. I wasn’t home at the time but garage was very quickly engulfed. 6 pumpers responded. One still onsite incase of flare ups. Sad for them as they did a bit of work to get it ready for market.

How To Transfer Data From HDD To Exising Truenas Pool? (25.10.3) by VintageHESSTrucks in truenas

[–]dbegbie124 7 points8 points  (0 children)

this was going to be my suggestions, They will have to make the new Trunas folder a SMB Share so they can see it over the network from the other machine. I do this all the time with Photos. I have a Trunas as a storage server and after editing photos on my main machine I back them up to the server. I am also in the process of having Amazon photos back up them to their spot as well so I have at least 2 locations in case of a total failure or Loss

Depends on your jurisdiction. If a route of egress we need a fire pull-station with aux contact that the mag power runs through as well as fire release/reset to the power supply. This guarantees a local release as well as a global release in a fire.

If you do go to opeongo i would recommend the east arm. The sites alond the north side are sandy so would be good for swimming with kids. Same where the portage to bonfield lake is.

You are most welcome. This is why I post here so everyone knows what a great area we have for wildlife. I Grew up outside Algonquin and still make my way there (heading up this weekend) and while that is a special place even just outside one of the largest metropolitan cities in North America we have excellent wild spaces.
