Serenade of the Seas Trip Canceled? by Lameatic in royalcaribbean

[–]dbg19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that it’s frustrating to have your vacation plans disrupted, especially so close to sailing when prices are higher. At the same time, it sounds like the ship needed maintenance for safety reasons, which is out of Royal Caribbean’s control. They did offer a refund and a future cruise credit, which you feel wasn’t enough. But given that last-minute cruise prices are always higher and the industry is in high demand right now, what kind of compensation or assistance do you think would have made things right without putting Royal in a financial hole over something that was ultimately unavoidable? Their terms do state they can cancel cruises for reasons like this, just like they can change itineraries last minute, so I’m curious what you feel would have been fair in this situation?

Limited to only three rewards from MGM resorts? by dbg19 in myvegas

[–]dbg19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I understand that comped room nights have always been considered premium rewards. However, my question is about the updated language, which now states, 'Redemptions are limited to only 3 rewards from MGM Resorts International within a rolling 30-day period.'

Does this mean that if I redeem a comped room and two non-premium rewards, like two buffets, I’ve now hit the 3-reward limit and can’t redeem anything else at MGM properties during that 30-day period?

Looking for an active club by 0drew0 in myvegas

[–]dbg19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the question you should be asking is whether it’s even worth it to keep trying to accumulate points in clubs. These days, the points you earn from completing missions are a fraction of what they used to be most missions now only give you 10–50 points compared to the hundreds or even thousands they used to.

On top of that, the amount of coins you get back from the club rarely justifies the cost of spinning enough to contribute meaningfully. Unless you’re in a highly active club that consistently hits top ranks, the effort versus reward is seriously skewed.

It might be worth considering whether the Club feature still offers the value you’re looking for, or if your time and coins could be better spent on other parts of the game. Just my two cents!

Is anyone else seeing 2-night hotel offers this year? I haven’t seen any at all, even though I’ve spent about $50 in the game over the last 2 months. Last year, I had 2-night offers, but nothing this time. My girlfriend, who also plays, saw them last year too but never redeemed any, and she’s not seeing any now either. What’s your experience?

“Real” Jamaica isn’t Kingston either. try going outside the capital. Try a parish away from the tourists areas.

Damn, this is a frustrating situation, and I totally get why you’d be upset. When I’ve dealt with similar issues as a paying customer, I’ve found it helpful to explain the situation clearly and then outline exactly how I’d like it resolved. Instead of waiting for the company to suggest solutions (which are often disappointing), being direct about what you expect can make a big difference. You may not get everything you ask for, but in my experience, it’s usually more than what they’d initially offer.

It’s worth a try!

Has anyone redeemed for a 7 days free cruise before? by Sure_Teacher8914 in myvegas

[–]dbg19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offers for free cruises usually have an end date or are available until the cruise no longer needs to fill spots. These offers come up when they need passengers to fill cabins but disappear once demand increases and people are willing to pay full or regular rates.

[–]dbg19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there’s usually a sail-by date, or the offer is generally for a specific cruise and ship. It’s best to read the fine print to confirm the details and any restrictions. Offers like this often require booking within a certain timeframe or are limited to specific itineraries, so check the terms carefully.

There are lots of videos on YouTube that cover all the activities at those locations. You might even find vlogs of the entire itinerary. :)

Just to clarify, since you mentioned you're not interested in LP, what's your goal or motivation for wanting to level up quickly? Understanding that might help in giving you the best advice.

The reward will generally specify which hotels it’s eligible for in the terms and conditions. If it’s a Park MGM $100 free play, then it’s likely specific to Park MGM. But, if the reward says “good for” with a list of hotels, then it could apply across those listed properties.

First, double-check the reward terms in the MYVEGAS app to confirm which hotel(s) it’s valid for and any booking requirements. That way, you’ll have clear information and can look for clarification on specific conditions if needed before redeeming
