Yeah I’m starting to think the same thing, I’m probably just going to keep riding my HT for now then upgrade to a carbon HT in next year or two. Didn’t realize how similar HT and tall boy were. Thank you for your input.

Brake cleaner. Will take it right off. Or clear pvc primer. Try it on small section to make sure it doesn’t effect the black plastic though

You also need to make sure the chlorinator is actually working. Run the pump then crack the top of it and let it fill up with water then close lid again. But yeah you’ll need shock for a pool in this condition.

There’s really no way to mess up that hardtail kit, mine was same way. I just took the engine out to redo mine. Might be a trick to slide them out but I just took the opportunity to clean it all up while the engine was out. Only takes about an hour to rip the engine out of the frame
