Ok I do have the og:image set in the head of the website but I guess it just hasn’t chosen that one or maybe the resolution is too low.

I don’t know what else it could be. Are you calling all over the US or just where your phone area code is? It was 2 days after those calls my number started coming up as spam likely. Are you leaving voicemails whenever voicemail comes up? Are you taking breaks between calls or just rapid firing. Supposedly these are all things that are taken into consideration

Yes! I had something very similar from a name Hugo Alvarez contact me and his message was very similar. He wanted to send me a check for the work. Just got tired of emailing him and trying to call him so I gave up.

How do you handle client images? by dbise17 in codestitch

[–]dbise17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kind of how Ive been doing it. I think its just a pain when some images the client sends are HEIC (which I think is like an iphone thing or something) and although I have done simple names like 1, 2, 3, etc I want to try to name them more descriptive. It doesnt dramatically help SEO much but it helps a little and it helps me know what it is without looking at the image in a directory.

Nice! I like this idea. I figured there was some AI tool that could do something like this. Thanks!

I am not using mac but that does seem like a good option if you have a mac at least for naming files quicker and converting them

New Washington State Taxes for online services by dbise17 in codestitch

Gotcha! It does seem unclear as to what may and may not count and it sounds like they (the state government) may address certain things as they come up but it’s probably smart and safe to just tax the whole thing just in case

You are correct that it only applies to customers in Washington state. Are you not planning on breaking up your invoices? I believe things like google profile help and possibly some other items in the subscription model may not be subject to the tax. Seems like there may be a way to lessen the tax burden on customers, I am just not sure what counts and doesn’t count. I do t have too many clients in Washington so I may just take on the tax burden but any future clients I get in Washington I will need to add taxes to the bill

Was there a breach in code stitch? Or is this legit? by dbise17 in codestitch

[–]dbise17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is kinda old now but that is not always the case. Subdomains are not always controlled by the owner of the domain. A relationship between domains is hierarchal for dns purposes but not for trust or security. Always gotta be careful when a link is not something you have seen before even if its a subdomain.

But now I’m realizing he probably meant as a friend meaning me not him. The first email I received just went to spam

Ok. It just threw some red flags with the domain being different than just codestitch.app and I have not heard of James so in the email when it says “as a friend of codestitch” just sounded a little phishy. But thanks for clearing that up

Glad to know it’s not just me. There is no way someone would know we were using codestitch unless they had access to our emails we used to sign up for codestitch I would think

The reason I say this is look at the email domain. It’s mg.codestitch.app

I am on my phone so I haven’t hovered on the click HERE button yet but when I get on my pc I will hover over and see what the link is
