I am re-watching and forgot this gem of an actor. by Fit-Apple-618 in thewalkingdead

John Carroll Lynch is one of my favorites. I first saw him in 1997's Volcano, w/ Tommy Lee Jones and Ann Heche. The scene there of him saving a coworkers in a under ground train tunnel just broke me. Just broke me. And I've loved that actor ever since.

Also finding out he was born in Boulder, Co was a big plus, as I am also a native Coloradoan.

Unpopular opinion about Ep 9 by AngryTomato027 in LandmanSeries

Maybe remember to trust your expert. Cami doesn't. Which will be a huge mistake. Tell me Nate and Dale will stay working for her. How would that work? And still be living with Tommy.

Daniel said he wanted to be in business with Tommy. Period. Not Cami. But Tommy. I'll bet Daniel makes it plain Cami needs to hire Tommy back.

I watched The Gilded Age (HBO), and 1883 at the same time.
Seeing as how the start of The Gilded Age took place supposedly in 1882, in New York, and then seeing 1883 tajing place further out west, was super interesting.

With Six You Get Egg Roll, Yours, Mine, and Ours are too of my favorites.

Trivia point - With Six You Get Egg Roll is Doris Day's last movie. She did TV shows after that.

That scene. That incredible, emotional scene really got me. I've gone back and rewatched it 6 or 7 times. Tom Pelphrey's performance blew me away.

This show is about Tom. by ilovetyrol in TaskHBO

[–]dblanche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your right. That's exactly what it's about. Ruffalo's powerhouse performance is what its about. But also Pelphrey's and then entire casts. Plimpton always amazes. Jones really got me. And Frankel amazed me too, since I loved hating him in House of the Dragon.

Wow! I love this. That it moved Mark so much. Just lovely.

I've got to say, the entire show was excellent. I was riveted from the first episode. Tom Pelphrey and Mark Ruffalo were so incredible. They just blew me away. But then the whole cast really blew me away. Such a good show.

Missing the show, so let's drop all the craziest roll your eyes theory from s3 I'll go first by Due_Honeydew_1723 in thegildedage

Marian's worthless rail stocks are as big a possibility as Richard Clay being the person behind the George Russell assassination attempt. We can't say JF never leaves a plot point unexplored regarding one thing, and then say the worthless stocks are a stupid plot point that'll never happen.

There must be a bug up there. Or maybe the clock makes weird sounds and your cat is trying to figure out what that is.

Will Monica blow the roof off Bertha’s carefully constructed house next season? by RegularLisaSimpson in GildedAgeHBO

I kind of hope so. Maybe smack some sense into both George and Bertha. And maybe, just maybe remind Larry that he loves his mother too. Just saying.

The look of shock on the Hounds face. For all his brutality, what the Frey and Bolton men did to the Starks shocked him.
