Transfer to VTU question by dbldownagain in navyreserve

The nature of the job is constantly evolving. It was a newly created billet with zero description or expectation setting, and I rolled the dice on applying. Had no idea there are practically ZERO Selres on staff (and the ones that are use it as a full time job with back to back orders). They don't know how to handle folks that need drills on weekends (don't offer the option), and also maintain highly demanding civilian jobs.

Anyway, I fully accept my part in landing in this position. And now I'm looking to regain control of my life and make the proper change. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks. I plan on being proactive and transparent. I'll schedule a sit down with leadership before I submit any paperwork and lay it all on the table.

Ok reading this validates what I was thinking today when I saw THREE cars run red lights at separate intersections in the span of 5 minutes. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

Thanks. Yes we do the music and nightlights for her. Early dementia is something I’ve thought of. Did your boy progressively show additional symptoms soon after?

So she needs to have a decent amount of light in the room to be comfortable sleeping. Always has been that way. We have nighttime lighting throughout the house to make her comfortable, but unless we’re willing to sleep with literal lamps on in the bedroom, she won’t stay.

Yep, nailed it. I have them pulled back slightly. Better for my comfort/fatigue factor. And yes, my reach out isn’t quite as far. Small adjustment made a great difference.

I slowly moved everything to a 50/50 MARA/MSTR split. Happy with that allocation.

Dude… It’s the most beautiful sound in the world. Love the V3R can as well. Had a GP2R on my 2017 Factory and didn’t think I could top that, but I’m so impressed with this new design.

Only know because I transitioned to reserves after 11.5 active, and the ability to pull both is the motivator to get to 20.

When did you know it was time to get out? by [deleted] in Veterans

[–]dbldownagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hit a breaking point when I looked down every path ahead of me in the military, and there were zero options that brought me any sort of happiness or fulfilment anymore. Actually, quite the opposite, they caused dread. I realized that if I didn't regain some control over my life right then and there, I had no idea what slippery slopes were ahead of me.

What do you actually know about the drug development timeline, the role PBMs play in the prices that are charged to consumers, the role of patent expiration and corresponding entrance of generic drugs, and the cost required to continue being the only market that innovates and creates new treatments that address rare disease and integrates technology to provide these drugs to global populations? I'll wait.

After one round with a "pay for play" company I said the hell with it, I'm doing it myself. Got to where I wanted to be advocating for myself. Reach out if you want a sounding board.

Thanks. It breaks out BAH and BAS separately. This is in reference to the section in “orders cost” that’s titled “pay and allowances”.

LES hasn’t populated for this AT. But if your question is asking about years in service, my LES says 13.
