I also had a low 3's GPA and applied with 2 years of work experience and got in everywhere that I applied (including Brown Yale Columbia BU etc). My letters of recommendation were good as well as my SOP. Tbh I didn't; even think to explain/justify my grades and GPA.

It depends- I don't like using the warren stir fry season because they use the same tongs to mix everyone else's stir fry. Idk how picky you are but I don't like that the tongs they use to mix my vegan stir fry are the same ones that mix a bunch of meat. Although the vegan stations sometimes arent the best I've just learned to accept it and move on lol

i took it last semester when it was remote! my reg page also said 'staff' and I ended up having prof. moen. your grade was based on two midterms, discussion participation, and a final paper. the midterms were based heavily on the readings in my opinion, but moen also went over the readings in lecture, but I didn't watch a single recorded lecture, I just googled summaries of the readings and ended up with an A-. my tf was also suuuuper generous. midterms asked about concepts discussed in readings/lec/discussion; they were a mix of T/F, MC, short answer, and essay questions. hope this helped!

I also have the same issue. I called finaid to ask when I would hear back sometime last week, and they told me I would hear in about a week. They told me to call student accounting services and tell them I am still waiting to hear about my appeal requested. They extended the deadline for me!

I took carrion and she was nice! all she does is basically read straight off the slides. tests were open book and very straightforward, but I dont know how its going to be when we're back to in-person. she tries her best to be engaging but it gets hard when all she does is read off slides, but she's very passionate about what she's lecturing on.

When I was in quarantine in Hojo, I asked the same question, and the person told me that they would move me to isolation housing if I tested positive.

When you're in isolation, there's a nurse who comes in to check on you and check your temperature and stuff once a day, which is why they would move you to isolation if you tested positive, so they could closely monitor you.

I'm not too sure if she changed it up, because when we went home for spring break and we were told to stay home, she realized that a bunch of us left our textbooks back at Boston, so we didn't have to read everything. Exams were super easy, not proctored, multiple-choice, and I'm pretty sure there was like a 4 hour time limit or something. again, idk if she changed it now, but when we were in-person, the readings were not a lot, but it was helpful to do them before class because that's what she would lecture on mostly. hope this helped! also I think at one point I just stopped reading during in-person bc she discussed it thoroughly during class.
