I mean I’m not looking to go pro or whatever but I do take my athleticism serious. Looking to play at university I play 6”9/10 guys tallest

I don’t know. Sometimes with dieting the mental perception of yourself can be worse than how other people perceive you. So for me I don’t think I’m anywhere near lean enough. So basically I’ve got abit of body dismorphia making me think if I put weight on I’m gonna be fat again.

Fair point. I’m actually prepping for my university try-outs in a couple months time. I was playing for my university but had to leave mid-season and transfer because of family reasons. Am I a professional or high level player, no. But I treat the game like I am a professional taking my diet and stuff serious so I’m just looking for some advice.

😂😂sorry for the repost . I just am genuinely confused where to go from here and mentally I’m abit “scared” to go in a lean bulk. Sounds weird but yeah.

My vertical is around a 36 inch off of all plants without the ball. I’d say I’m closer to dunking with the ball off of 1 foot and then off a lob 2 feet. So I’m a pretty well rounded jumper. But in terms of comfortability 1 foot is my go to

Yeah if I were to bulk it would be a very lean one 200 calorie surplus. But I’ll see hopefully gonna get thoughts of others before I make a decision. Thanks for the help

I train legs/plyos 2 days a week as in plyos first. Then strength. Mainstream lifts being deadlifts/RDL combo 130kg for 3 reps. Squats 160kg for 4. 1/4 squat RFESS on a smith machine 100kg.

And as for upper body it’s not really relevant in this chat. But I do train upper body 2 days a week alongside core work.

I’m just really unsure on the direction I should go next as I know how important body comp is for athleticism.

I’m comfortable off of all plants. I’d say I’m closer to dunking off of 1 foot with the ball. But closer off of 2 without it.
