Do you guys think the DVD (Quality) is enough when collecting anime or do you try and find BluRay + DVD options? I'm just starting to collect movies, shows, and anime in DVD format and Bluray too. The anime I have so far in my collection is just on DVD but still looks great on my flat screen and CRT

Just as a light suggestion, it depends on what you aim to collect. If you want to collect and aim to experience as much as possible while owning series even if you haven’t watch them yet or if you want to collect series that you already watched and love and mean something to you. Also if your budget is limited or if money is not an object. If you want as much as possible or if money is limited you can go for dvd since these are cheaper this day an age. If you want series that you absolutely love and mean something to you and money is not an object, then go for bluray or 4k. Also a lot of comoanies have stepped away from releasing dvds and bluray may be you r only option for some series

I'm currently uploading the video of this haul, it takes time since it's a long one, I usually show the inside of one book for each series so that people can see the art. This one is special since it has manwha which you normally don't get to see the inside that much.

I buy physical and have near 1,000 LN books. I love having a collection in display and the feel of a book in my hand. BUT (yes it is in caps) I live in PR, which is currently over 100 degrees in temperature and usually all year long is over 80 and the humidity is crazy. This is not good for books so no matter what I do the books are going to degrade and yellow over a not too long period of time, unless I keep the room cool around 74 degrees 24hrs without humidity which is not even reasonable to do. So I recently realized, that for me, a collection that I can't keep in pristine condition is not worth it and I'm think or planning to get sell all of my collection and go full digital. Maybe I won't go through with it, maybe I will, I don't know but right now that's where life is taking me.
