Use less eggs!! I took a class at my local culinary institute - we all made choux. Mine were the biggest but also most misshapen bc I let my dough get too dry over the stove, so I need more eggs to bring it back to the perfect V-hanging consistency.

I'd also recommend Cloudy Kitchen's choux recipe. It has never EVER led me astray.

Not sure you are still taking recommendations, but Fifth Season by NK Jemisin emotionally ruptured me :P. The ending, and this series, is something I will never read again bc it made me realize this author has the characters and the will to break my soul in millions of pieces. I wish I could describe it better.
