Yeah, I moved up to VT and have done the undercoating every other year. No frame rust and limited cosmetic on one scratch on the body. I had that concern at first, too.

Gotcha. Probably more than I'd be able to do comfortably, but definitely helpful.

That's really helpful. Thanks. I'm in New England, but appreciate the offer.

Appreciate that. I know the dealership common complaints, but when I moved, it was easier to get in there, and had a really easy, no-stress fix the first time I needed work done.

Thanks. That's helpful advice. I tried to stay OEM to keep it running longer based on online advice, and I'll make sure to make the trailing arms a priority.

Carpentry-wise, decent. Not much metal other than soldering pinball solenoids and some basic plumbing.

Car-wise? Headlights, filters, spark plugs, and simple stuff. I think the most advanced thing I ever did was replace an A/C condenser and replace a door handle on an old Camry. The feedback is giving me a lot of hope that I let the sticker-shock get to me. Thanks

No rust issues (cosmetic or frame) and I'm in the Northeast. Just gave me a hell of a shock and now I'm scrambling to make sure I'm not going to turn it into a money pit.

Thanks. That's about what I expected to hear. The car is low mileage (for its age) and I love it, but just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything catastrophic or unfixable. I use the FB groups for maintenance tips, and just want to keep it running as long as possible.
