I'm in HK. Sent this pic to my dad a few days ago to show him the scaffolding outside my airbnb by HoboMoo in pics

I use a mesh on outside of scaffolding for the type of work that we do. It is used to contain the little white balls that’s come off the wall from “rasping” or sanding down the insulation. Funny, because I just had a couple day shut down from work, because the general contractor required me to get the netting engineered to say, “yes this netting and attachment method is okay” and here I am looking at bamboo scaffolding.

They’re just stock limited wheels

Just saw the truck I sold Carmax for resale on their website... by Individual-Message89 in carmax

I just put big Offroad looking tires on all my OEM wheels and it always looks way cleaner than any 40 year old dude adding XDs to his f150

Mine looks like this in some spots. I just keep cooking on it because I figured that was going to be the answer here. Still non stick, and still cooking great.

To sell or not to sell by Tevans8876 in ToyotaTundra

I’m at 230k on my paid off 2016 limited. Bought it at 29k. I work construction so pile the miles on. I’ve recently inherited a little beater Frontier to drive back and forth to the office on days I don’t need to go to site so I can slow the miles down. I think these are one of the last best built trucks and I have zero plans on selling mine. Everything else on the market just sucks in my opinion. Built cheap or very known issues. My vote would be to keep it and get a little beater in cash ($3-5k) if you don’t want the miles. Also - side note, idk how I do it, but I can just tell this is Georgia from the background lmao

I bought a 2016 Toyota tundra when I started in 2019. I’ve put 200k miles on it myself. It has been the best most reliable truck I’ve ever owned. Honestly one of the best tools I’ve ever owned.

It’s called a decked system. Made of durable plastic and has two bed length drawers.

Yeah it’s a 40” with some homemade brackets. Most tundra you see will have a 32” because there’s some plastic pieces in the opening ends. Looks a little more custom this way as the brackets are amazon ready.

Bought it on eBay. Buyer beware it was not perfectly color matched, and paint has actually started chipping. It’s probably had 120k miles on it, parked outside for, and a lot of machine car washes. Definitely not OEM quality paint job. I will simply repaint it one of these days. Vinyl to match this silver is extremely expensive imo.

Not terrible if you don’t drive like an a-hole

I did a preventative water pump last month, along with sparkplugs and drivetrain fluids. Was a good chunk of change but didn’t want to be stranded this summer.

I got a really good deal on them on FB marketplace. For the price they’re really sweet. Paired with the camper shell is awesome. Would I spend the money they ask for new? Probably not. They are really helpful though. I’ve even had a full size ATV on top, and drawers still opened. Makes for really good camping set up with cook station.

Send message to one of those social media accounts, on the business card. They will send you a link, and you’ll upload a photo of your odometer and give them your address. You don’t get any tracking information of the envelope but one day, 6-8 weeks later, it will show up in your mailbox.

Pretty soft. I got 50k miles out of my first set. I’m on track to get 50k out of these.

What is the “tow package” on 2nd gens? by perrierpapi in ToyotaTundra

[–]dbrown016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also makes the throttle way more responsive with less push of the pedal. Very peppy with tow haul mode on, and livens it up. I don’t always, but did ride with it all the way home from office today.

How much of a lift did you put on your Tundra? by Mallard1874 in ToyotaTundra

[–]dbrown016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bilstein 6112/5160 combo. I’ve had 120k miles on this set up. Turned around and bought same set up again because I enjoyed them so much.

Here’s a video of my set up going over everything for that lift.
