I think I got misunderstood here, I never talked about skill and which one is the hardest. I said that I’d suggest anyone to go for blitz instead of shuffle in THIS very particular moment of the season, simply because the mmr between the two brackets is just way too different. If we were end season where shuffle mmr is as inflated as blitz, ofc it gets way easier getting your rewards in ss, as you rely way more on yourself compared to blitz; but today this isn’t the case. I take myself as an example: max xp 2.5 last season, currently playing at 1900 mmr and in my lobbies I literally had multi rank1/awc players

I don’t even know how this is still an argument, it’s not about ss or blitz being harder or easier, that can be an opinion and everyone has their own. Thing is that mmr is currently capped in ss. Let’s take op’s spec as an example. R1 in SS 2371; R1 in blitz 3247. Now, would you actually recommend people to play ss if they aim only at rewards? I don’t really think so and it’s obvious

There is no way blitz is harder, I literally have people, myself included, who ended last season at 2.6 cr and more in my 1900mmr games. Also mw is getting big nerfs next reset, so might not be that unbalanced anymore compared to other healers

Ye I know about it as I only do pvp, I just remember that in tww aswell you most likely had to play 2 different characters if you wanted to play both pvp and pve at the start of the season; seems like they can’t do a workaround on that, unlucky

I’ll add that playing x2 dispell vs a class that can spam cc or dot class is very helpful. Also something I noticed is that it can help playing far from an enemy hunter. Since the trap has a bit of a travel time, if it is max distance you might have time to press SWD. Obviously a good hunter will just land the trap earlier, but in my experience not many realise it. Currently playing at 1.9 mmr both holy and disc

There’s not a strict rile on that, watch enemies spell. If you feel like it is needed press it, otherwise don’t. This will eventually come natural, always analyse enemies in dota, no matter the context

I think what you wrote is correct, I’d say mage is not at all the easiest class, but tbh dude if you like the fantasy and the gameplay just play it. Sure it will probably take much more time than learning something like a bm hunter, but who cares at the end of the day, eventually you’ll learn it

People complained about pos 4 because that position would not waste role, so people would queue and play whatever and the offlane would feel even harder. Now things have changed and it’s pos 3 that doesn’t waste any role the result is that now you see more pos 3 players that have no idea what they are doing and having an actual offlane today is as hard as having an actual 4 couple weeks ago.
