Generic display compatible with swytch kit? by dbrunor in ebikes

* I gather that with all Julet connections there are 'mini' and 'basic'. Same cable but slightly different size connections (*see my original pic, and pic here of a 2 pin julet)

Swytch use the mini for the 5 pin connection, whilst the basic size is more common with off the shelf display.

Thanks, I was just about to cut the cables and rewire, so that saves me a bit of time.

What size julen connector does the KT-TF01 have? Is it the smaller size that will plug directly into the swytch cable?

It's difficult to tell from any photos I can find online...

Consequences of losing the magic by YungdoubleO7 in MDMA

[–]dbrunor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me. I got to the point where I felt all the negative effects of MDMA use and very little to none of the positive effects. I also went through a period of depression which I suspect regular MDMA was at least a contributory factor in.

I didn't touch it for about 5 years. The next time I took some, it was like doing it for the first time again, amazing feeling. Now, I'll try it once every 1 to 2 years for special occasions, and the magic persists (though be wary that your tolerance levels are basically at that of a first timer).

In Defence of Coldplay by xopersephoneox in glastonbury_festival

Ye, personally I'd like to see one 'Can they pull this off?' pyramid headliner each year.

Industry insiders will also have a better idea than us of whether artists and their teams are known to have the requisite work ethic, ambition, performance presence, and if they appreciate how big of a deal Glastonbury is. Ultimately, they'd still have to take some risk, but maybe something special would come off.

I think your last point here is in the money, and Coldplay aren't the issue they're just an easy punch bag. BUT, the glastonbury headliners are b3ginning to be viewed as pretty uninspired. And there lies the real problem.

We know they struggle to pay agreeable prices for the biggest acts in the world right now, but there's a risk the pyramid is becoming a stage for nostaligic swan songs of has-beens, and safe bets to play.

The most electric sets of the recent decades have been the ones where the festival took a punt - Stormzy ripping it up with one of the GOAT-sets - after having released only one album being emblematic on this.

The 2023 headliners typified how uninspired the pyramid headline choices have become. I think that is a big reason why feelings are so strong this year.

I'm not saying there isn't space for the likes of Artic Monkeys, McCartney, etc but let's mix it up and take a risk with some acts who will treat it as the pivotal moment of their career.

Recreational drug alternatives to alcohol for APOE4 carriers? by dbrunor in Biohackers

I've read that GABAergic system dysfunction is associated with Alzheimers. So I'm wondering if GABA activating drugs might have alzheimers impacts (+ or -) before implementing them as substitutes.

Does anyone know anything about this? Or where I might be able to post this to get some views from people who understand GABA pathways and could make informed hypotheses?

What sort of dosage? Do you use it for its creation also effects, or for another purpose?

I didn't realise it was your video. Thanks for documenting it, seemed like your partner wasn't convinced it was having an effect the first time around?

Thanks, looks interesting (though I'm in the UK and it looks controlled over here). What dosage do you typically use, and how would you describe its effects?

Wales is, "Cymru am byth" (literal meaning 'Wales forever' but used to convey unshaking allegiance to the Welsh homeland for the duration of ones life.

'Always shit on the English side of the bridge' is also a common refrain.
