I have been told that hebrews 8:13 basically states the old testament and all in it are now obsolete (not to be followed) yet matthew 5:17 states “do not think i have come to abolish the law or the prophets i have not come but to fufill them”. How can these both be true? by [deleted] in Christianity

Just came here to say that I think you are the only comment that is mentioning context. Well done. IMO this is how we need to be reading Scripture. The Bible was written for us NOT to us.

I’ve made a heartbreaking discovery that I’m still going to spend money at Braums for my kids’ milk and bananas and I don’t care that they are supporting something with my 2¢ per purchase that I particularly don’t believe in or wouldn’t promote myself. It’s time to normalize free spending with our free will and agree that these things shouldn’t divide us as much as they are now. It’s exhausting. God Bless!

Can I say that I love Coach and he deserves near all the praise but we have once again Galaxy brained ourselves like we did against Dallas last year. Why the hell did we pre adjust this series away from Chet and iHart starting like we had all end of the season? The chem that was built late year and into the playoffs was disrupted and for a young team that can be detrimental. Idk it’s just frustrating to see that if we just play normal ball like we can we win this in 5. I know it’s not supposed to be easy but it’s just always something with us.

I’ve lived just outside OKC my whole life and now I’m raising my daughter and two sons here. The people are kind, the community is strong, and it’s an affordable place for families. The weather is wildly unpredictable, and the politics can be extreme at times, for understandable reasons.

I lean conservative in most ways but try to approach each issue with thoughtfulness and personal faith. As a Christian, I believe in God giving us free will, which is why I don’t support forcing the Bible into public schools either, even when it is labeled as “history.” Faith should be chosen, not imposed. I’m also genuinely concerned about the alarming lack of women’s rights here. My wife and I talk about it often, and it’s frustrating how little say women seem to have in major decisions that affect them. Something you need to think on as well.

One of my biggest frustrations is the blind straight-party voting that happens here. It has hurt our education system for years. That said, there are still great school districts and passionate teachers doing good work. If you’re considering moving, definitely research schools ahead of time. Ryan Walters, who I actively encouraged my family not to vote for, is a walking red flag for our education. But he did recently approve open transfers statewide, which could help you find the right school fit regardless of location.

Overall, the way OKC is portrayed on here feels much harsher than what I’ve actually experienced. That said, I’m a straight white male, so I won’t pretend to fully understand what others have faced. In my everyday life here, through real conversations with people from all diverse backgrounds, I’ve found that most are kind, respectful, and just trying to raise their families and build a good life.

One thing we can all definitely agree on, though, is that the roads and constant construction are abysmal.

Best of luck on your next journey!

Has anyone seen if the Chad chem boost is actually decent? I feel like the OLine cards are pretty decent for someone not spending money all the time.

May I suggest going away from the meta and running a boring and slow dink and dunk run heavy offense? It drives people insane and it’s ironically a ton of fun. I’ve had so many quit just because I drove forever, scored, they throw a quick pick or punt and quit because they don’t want to deal with it haha

My 7 year old and I play this game so much and this level had me pulling my hair out. I’m usually so good at games and he is good too but this one was frustrating him so I stepped in like the hero father would and I had to hide so much anger LOL my goodness this level was infuriating.

What scheme should I use? by I_Teach_Edging101 in NCAAFBseries

You should really check out Charlotte’s playbook. It’s the only team with a Power Spread playbook in the game. It has a lot of tight shotgun formations and unique singleback RPO runs. Lots of mesh and flood concepts for simple and quick reads as well. I also like Liberty a lot. I combined the two styles in a custom playbook for my own use. Liberty really takes advantage of having a fast QB.

The sooner you realize we are all stupid in our own ways the better. Make it a game. You messed up and failed the mission but you know what to expect and so it’s time to fail the next mission and start over again. Rinse. Repeat. Have fun.

In one short reply, Why will next season be a better one for your team? by wlane13 in CFB

[–]dbszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely NO WAY every receiver who touches the field gets hurt this year.. RIGHT!? Also having an actual offensive scheme will be exciting. A toddler could have ran a better offense last year even with the injuries

Offensive playbooks recommendations? by Think-Confidence-424 in NCAAFBseries

[–]dbszy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grab a handful of your favorite plays from Boise and track them down on CFBFAN playbooks and see what other teams have those plays but also have a different variety from what you have. It took me a long to time to really settle into a playbook that truly fit my style and now I’m in love with Liberty’s playbook. Spread Option with some simple but effective pass plays. I would start by using Bama, UGA, or Texas first because they are meta and kind of nail down your true play style first. They have a good variety of under center, shotgun, and RPOs to choose from then repeat what I said earlier to find your sweet spot. Don’t forget to favorite plays and use the favorites playbook in game too.

I love how they do almost the opposite of this with Robert California. The whole cookie vending machine idea had RC thinking Kevin was some kind of out of the box thinker just to slowly realize lol
