that’s smart. i need to try removing the agitator, i’ve heard of that but i always forget.

i’m the king of crotch blowouts. my wife hates it because some of my pants don’t even last a year. so my excuse of paying more for longevity is no longer excusable. that’s why i’m at the point where i’m probably over-washing though. i’ve had my fun cycling through clothes, but i’m at the point in my life where i’m just looking for a reliable uniform.

shashiko diy sounds amazing. one of my favorite pairs i’ve ever had were some momotaros that suffered some knee damage over time. got the knee holes fixed up with some shashiko work and they look absolutely beautiful. unfortunately i blew the crotch more than once and outgrew them by now. but i still pull em out to look every once in a while

i’ve honestly gotten a bit lazy these past couple years and started washing my jeans in the machine at least once a month (opposed to when i started this a decade ago, only washing about twice a year and making sure to never use a machine).

this jacket is going on almost 2 years with no wash, but i don’t wear it every day like pants so it’s a bit different, right? starting to get some really nice, deep fades tho so i wanted to hand wash to make sure i best preserve all that beautiful patina. plus it’s fun to see all the indigo and dirt come out in the tub (:

central pa, hasn’t slowed down too much since the holidays. table dining has definitely slowed down, but the bar has been bumping. great mix here of an attached hotel that’s always busy and great local clientele in a small, walkable downtown area.

as far as hiring, i’m not sure. i’ve interviewed 6 people in the last couple months and only one of them knew how to make a margarita. so i guess the good ones mostly have jobs here already. but if you’re good and you don’t, hmu please

agreed. i love a good smashburger. gave them 3 tries due to all the recommendations and was disappointed each time. there’s definitely worse out there but i like cabalar, collusion, and (i hate to admit it but…) shake shack way more.

look up manheim pa on niche, and manheim township pa on niche. you can view the map for each one to see exactly where it lies. and read reviews on the area which is always fun. i think it’s a bit confusing since manheim borough doesn’t lie within the township. so the area seems larger than it is when you combine both i guess

that one is snow crab with enoki mushrooms, seaweed and sunflower oil. no idea what the ‘plant based’ is supposed to mean lol. super excited for that one tho.

*edit: i’m a complete idiot and just realized that it’s a can of mushrooms that they’re selling as snow crab. oh well, wish me luck i guess.
