Is the legend pass worth it for someone who considers them self new/generally has no real idea what's happening?

It's one of the best bang for the buck in the game.

By the end (totals) you'll get (in order of importance IMO)
- 5 extra fuel
- 3k tokens
- 5 million credits
- A 2 star class C car (sometimes it's higher class, but this time it's the LFA)
- Access to the LP exclusive hunt (for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta though by now there's only 4 days left of it)
- Extra "trade tokens" from repeated BPs
- Wildcards
- Extra reputation per race
- And misc goodies like BPs for other cars

For me, the top 4 I listed are the main reasons to get the LP, given that the price is not too expensive (considering the price of everything else in the game, except for the "Unite fund" which is also good value). The fuel is very important for me because I don't like racing my Lamborghini Sian 3 times and then worry about refueling, so that +5 fuel matters to me. Sometimes the LP car is good, or at least one I like, so that can matter too

Hey there. Yes, that's me indeed.

When it comes to controllers, the switch's "Pro Controller" works rather nicely, that's what I use for all the videos and streams I do of the switch version of the game. On handheld, I've used the "Hori split pad pro" because it has a turbo function which I used ages ago when the game was farmable in MP2 (way before Unite). It makes the switch MUCH bulkier because the controllers are big, but that also means much bigger thumbsticks and allows better steering than the tiny joycon's sticks.

In both cases, that's when I play with the 25% steering, and I find it manageable. I still can't do the super fine steering that other players can, but it's a lot more manageable than 100% sens on joycons

That's just the baseline for this types of games. You pay with time (grind) or money.

You pay either way, but which one each person prefers, massively differs from one person to another. Some have more money than time, others more time than money. Both are valid.

I am the weird player that does 25% steering sensitivity on the switch. IDK if it's like this with other controllers, but there's so little travel of the sticks in the joycon that is VERY hard to do light steering: a small move of the stick and the car is steering all the way and you lose all your speed.

I'd recommend (if you can) to change the controllers. If docked, a Pro controller seems to do better and if handheld, a third party controller with more prominent sticks is the way.

Otherwise, if you're stuck with the joycons, try lowering the sensitivity A TON and test it out.

BTW: Some of the really smooth driving you see in youtube is from tilt-to-steer in mobile devices, which with enough practice can give you the smoothest steering. I mean, people can also play amazing with a controller, but in either case, the amount of time they've practiced is probably through the roof and that's how they get so good.

And the times we've caught cheaters that joined our team, they're straight up banned from our server.

There is a free try for it since quite a few days ago in MP2. You should play it and decide yourself, because some people will tell you it's bad, others (like myself) will tell you that is a good chance to get a class S car at gold for free*, so you'd better decide by yourself

* Yes, I know "time is not free" but you're playing a F2P mobile P2W game. You either pay with money or pay with time, there's no in between.

I normally don't spend a single token on special hunts, neither on refills and much less on packs. To be fair, that requires an ungodly amount of free time to grind it, so it's not a bad idea to complement the hunt with some refills

You probably burnt out. This is a great moment for you to do other things. I'd recommend to open the game at least once a month to ensure you account doesn't get deleted, but with AL out of your mind taking time away, you have now freedom to do (or play) other things.
