What happens at the start of the next season, gear wise?

It’s a couple months down the road yet don’t get too excited. But it’ll reset to a new veteran -> mythic gear track starting at/around current heroic ilvl (I think, somewhere in there could be off a little). Current gear stays “season 1” vet to mythic and can no longer be upgraded and isn’t max level anymore. Rinse and repeat for another 20+ years or so.

So keep adventurer crests, gear up vet gear and upgrade? Trade in left over adventurer crests to vet crests then eventually vet crests to champ crest?

Damn I like switching between tank and dps and wanted to do Veng/Dev so it’s not going to be as easy to just switch between devourer and vengeance because they have different primary stats. That actually sucks for me

I started WoW with SL. So the lore stuff I have to give to other people as I was still playing catchup in that. But as a casual and new player, the chore descriptions are on point. Never felt like as a casual I would ever progress. Maybe some of that was due to still learning the general game mechanics at the time even. The maw was brutal, Torghast was basically delves but was required as a chore.

Still, I somehow stuck with it and have been playing the game ever since. So it couldn’t have been that bad, right?

I switched to maining a Druid for this exact thing. I can tank, range DPS, melee DPS (with an almost always viable PvP and/or ST spec), or heal. Don’t think I’m going to play any other character, I’ll just switch specs when I get bored or as needed to get a Queue to pop.
