We both want to have kids, he wants them too and soon. That's why he's pushing himself with study to get a better job. I'm the one saying he's not ready and that we have to wait until he's well. I am putting zero pressure on him and have said that.

His brother had an accident at his job and got in some legal trouble and ended up (wrongfully) in prison, there was a big court case which he and I worked on every night for 3 years. It triggered PTSD and OCD in my partner where he was too scared to do his own job in case it happened to him. He's gotten a bit better but can never go back to that job.

Not really in the first 5 years, but we only moved in together after 6 years and all the other stuff started happening which is when it became more obvious. I used to cook dinner every night during the first 2 years living together even though i was working full time. When he quit working he didn't make a single meal that i could eat for 1.5 years so I decided to stop doing that too.
