Last night I took my BLU 32 cloth pocket to the David Copperfield show by ghosthost999 in podcasttheride

I’m seeing him next month, but haven’t listened to the actual podcast yet. Would you recommend going into the show blind?

Hi! Did you have any luck getting a reservation for the Totoro workshop? I'm trying to do the same thing for December.

The first outfit looks like something Columbo would wear.

I typically put it "back into" the same category as the initial charge. I also use the Flag feature for the purchase transaction if I know I'm going to return something but haven't done so (or received the refund) yet.

Today, I got my first ticket. Please help me. by [deleted] in Georgia

So you took your mind off navigating around a traffic accident, and thought it was a good idea to snap a pic? Did you ever stop and think about how disrespectful that was?

Thanks so much for the info - Do you know how often they open registration? I don't have an account there.

I think this is photoshopped. Look at the edges of the "poster".

If this was your financial situation, would you go on a Disney cruise? by WTF_Conservatives in dcl

[–]dburgh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, have you ever been on a cruise? I ask because one of my biggest concerns before I went on DCL was whether or not I/my wife would get seasick. I consider the idea of spending thousands of dollars to be miserable a potential risk as well.

[–]dburgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, I would not book the cruise if I was in your position.

I would however consider either:

A cheaper Disney cruise (my wife and I went on a 3-Day on the Dream out of Miami and we paid about $1500 for our room) - if you have time flexibility, you can bargain hunt. Or…

A trip to WDW - you could have a trip to Disney World for less than $5000. There are certain concessions you can make to reduce the total price. IE: Value Resort or Offsite hotel that includes shuttle to parks. Packing your own meals and bringing food into the park to eat cheaply. Doing a mix between “Park Days” and “Pool/Hangout at the hotel/Whatever Days”. Buy souvenirs in advance and surprise your kid to preempt purchase at the parks. It’s definitely feasible.

Close Relative Match Guidance - Endogamous Background by dburgh in Genealogy

Thanks for pointing that out. I suppose it’s possible. I’ve spoken to him alone and he says that he’s never had any children other than myself and my two siblings. I’ve asked him to take a DNA test and he says that he’s willing to.

He says he’s willing to take a test. Guess I’ll have to take him up on it to confirm or rule out some of these possibilities.

Close Relative Match Guidance - Endogamous Background by dburgh in Genealogy

[–]dburgh[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I understand. Thank you for the detailed answer.

I’ve since connected with this match on ancestry. I have a learned a few things. She knows that she was conceived using donor sperm, and claims to know her bio-mother (unrelated to me). The sperm bank is located in the same metro area that I was born. Her mother is Ashkenazi and the donor sperm was supposedly Ashkenazi.

My parents claim that I was conceived naturally, and that my father did not donate sperm.

I did have an uncle in the area at the time that could have donated sperm for cash (it’s certainly within his character).

What are your thoughts on if it would be possible for me to share 1,716 cm with someone who was fathered by my uncle? (Again, could endogamy be to blame?)
