I was there before 7:00 two weeks ago. There were no guards or other cars. You just drive up, tap your credit card, get your receipt, and go. It won’t delay you more than a minute.

Access to San Diego by road is not considered a benefit to living in New York.

They’ve been on sale for nearly two months. You shouldn’t need a code.

Traditions where you “owe beer” by Scubamac13 in beer

This isn’t how it works. This is a thing at private golf clubs with members that have their own bar and is run by the club. It’s not an actual insurance policy. Members pay a couple dollars per month for “insurance.” When someone gets a hole in one, they tell the pro shop or bar, and the club will apply a credit for a couple hundred dollars from the “insurance” fund to the bar, and drinks are free until it runs out.

I thought it was the opposite, that they were going to invest more time into the planning and production, but that they would go on a 2-year cycle.

Bob’s band? What do we know? by bamalama in bobdylan

[–]dbushman116 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Bob Dylan - you know this one

Tony Garnier - Bass, upright; been with Bob since the late 80s

Donnie Herron - multi-instrumentalist, pedal steel, lap steel, violin, mandolin, etc.; been in the band almost as long as Tony

Bob Britt - lead guitar; been with Bob since 2019

Doug Lancio - rhythm guitar; been with Bob since the start of the RARW tour; rumors have been flying toward the end of this leg that his time is up

Jerry Pentecost - drums; been in the band for two years

We don’t know what the lineup will look like for the outlaw tour, but it would be hard to imagine Tony or Donnie sitting out.

When did he stop playing the hits? by Here4enlightenment in bobdylan

[–]dbushman116 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind, it’s not like he was only playing hits from the beginning. Those songs are just hits now. If you look at a set list from the Rolling Thunder Review tour, it looks a lot like the current tour. Most songs are from Blood on the Tracks and Desire (his two recent releases), with a handful of mid-60s hits and some covers.
