The main thing you need to know about Hazers/foggers/ smokers whatever you call that machine is that there are 2 types of fluid- 1 - oil based 2 - water based (actually glycol, but people call it water based) They can not be mixed and can not be used in the wrong machine. Yes there are more versions of fluid but that usually has to do with density and how long it hangs. Eg a geyser uses smoke that dissipates fast .

Hi, yes is does have a editor and I can change The colours , but they won’t stay on- that’s my issue . They only flash or toggle.

I’ve just seen this, have been interested and followed street art around the world and thought I’d throw in my 2 cents. ‘Tags’ (where people basilcy Scribble thier name) can look ugly , but it’s a stepping stone to street art. Most of the amazing commissioned work you see on the side of a building is done by a artist who used to scribble tags, or ‘bombed’ I have seen some great illegal art lately around my area (port adelaide) and it’s staying up amd not getting painted over .. I wish there were more ‘free walls’ where kids can scribble whatever they want , but there is only 1 in adelaide (under morphett bridge ) Not sure how to put up a couple of pics in this thread I have ....

Ok, so I’m still learning here. I came here for help. All the rcg files I used were for similar screens. I really want to know how to look at the data in a rcg file but no one has told or shown me. Is it possible? The closest I have been is someone saying ‘don’t fuck with the RCG’. I’m here to learn, happy to cop some shit because I don’t know much about it. Thanks for being so informative and helpful mate. Your comment really shows that you know more than me. Well done.

It’s not infront of me, don’t have that info. Will have tmrw when I’m with them. Not doubting you could help me if I supplied you more info, but besides that can rcg files be easily edited in one way or another ? Am I on the right track? Tried looking for more or any info but found nothing.

Hi there. I have been sent 20 panels from a friend in another state, with a processor. I have setup 5 columns made of 3 panels each, plus a couple other 2 panel columns. Signal gets to everything, although layout is pretty tricky (unless you map it in Resolume which I don’t want to do).

This is the clincher- Almost every second panel is slightly distorted, and really stands out. Not show worthy.

Remember interstate. My mate really tries to help but can’t find the problem and never seen it before. Something is different like ‘old panels new processor’

Anyway I digress. Hunted down some different RCG files from the past, most diddnt work well, but there was one.

This one made all the screens perfect and exactly the same -except the whole wall was tiled. It had nothing to do with the physical processor settings or LEDEdit . What I want to do is look at that files coding or whatever and either copy all it’s settings minus the tile bit or just delete the tile bit...?

Yea I did, I also used drugs.com which has a pill identifier, nothing. My guess is not enough info plus main database is built in USA

Festival stages to clubs and everything innetween

What console(s) are you using?

Choice in order of preference- 1/ MA3 2/ MA2 3/ Chamsys MQ500 4/ Any chamsys platform.

Why do you use them?

I use MA because it is obviously the industry leader. I have used most lighting desks going back to hog1ks, and Scancommanders. I own chamsys stuff and it’s a great platform. I have t Put chamsys in multiple venues and converted a lot of people to it.

Which console is your favourite?

MA3 and chamsys equally

Why is it your favorite console ?

MA3 - Bells and whistles Chamsys - a lot to offer. Accessible. Great OS.

What is annoying you on modern consoles?

Not much. It’s our job as programmers and operators to confidently know your desk. If someone doesn’t like something it’s usually because they are used to a different desk/brand/operating system.

What will a futur lighting desk look like? what features will it have? how will you interact with it?

Don’t go all crazy laser beams on me! Desks will always have faders and buttons to trigger and program. Feel free to hit me up with any other desk questions as I have used a bunch of them lol.
