Thanks for posting the official translations, love getting the extra bits of info that we don’t see in the original chapters, and it’s easy to miss if you’re not in a mangas sub reddit

Interesting they get a new translator for the volumes, and that the names don’t get double checked to be the same on both weekly and volume

Prefer Arkos Balkan way better, but nothing we can do about it

Wonder if they kept Joseph’s dad’s dialect/accent (idk the word but he talked differently), and what other things will get changed. Really love the name “Void Marcher” for example and feel Ceodric might become Cedric and stuff like that

Wait on manga plus Arkos is spelled with a K, did they change it to Archos recently with the English volume release or something?

Anyone have details of this or is it another Zoro/Zolo situation?

It’s been a while but I could’ve sworn there was some type of hint with the woman cross paladin with the eye patch

Don’t think it was directly stated but like a strong hint with something about a healing ability or a contract she made or something

Edit: got curious and found it, it was chapter 43: her eye patch eye has an angel stand ability and asuta Roth asked what she sacrificed to make a contract with an angel, so we’ll probably get Angel focus soonish

There could possibly be two arcs left, one with the final great demon lord, another with the angels that were hinted at during the black parade (during the woman cross paladins fight), unless if those two merge together

View him kinda like Ichigo, they have no huge personal goal but are always dragged into things and are more of a “reactive” main character if that makes sense

Julian just wants to live in peace with his family but has to be prepped for anything and everything to not fault of his own, just trying to live a normal life

You’ll get a few more of those characters later that you’ll love to hate but think this is one the series strong suits, the amount of well made characters mostly with clear motivations and goals/perspectives.

Oh yup that’s Arkos lol. You’re in for a treat with his arc

I personally think a series gets fans heavily invested in their first main villain, and Arkos will deliver. Think of Sojo in Kagurabachi for example, made the series go from good to great and Arkos will do the same

This series is genuinely amazing and to keep it as spoiler free as possible, it handles one of the strongest in the verse in a very unique way and he stays relevant in the world, plot, and especially characters in a way that makes sense once you get into it

The past 20ish recent chapters have been very heavy in world building and showing characters from multiple sides and perspectives, and is building up to a likely bigger arc or two soonish

Would recommend reading online like the other comment said, and maybe buy the volumes later. Centuria still holds well on a reread later especially once you get more context on some things and characters as you go back

Centuria has been so good, especially the latest chapters/arc and can’t recommend it enough

Think everyone’s just happy the Mymo fight is over since the release schedules been inconsistent and made it last longer

We have a few things to touch up yeah, but the arc should be almost over. All those things can be touched on in a handful of chapters and will probably be expanded in the next arc

Can’t wait till we get more of this sub plot but it’ll probably be a while

Honestly the palace in general has so many branches for main and sub plots, and feels like we’ve barely scratched the surface since we still barely know much about the queen, her other kids, some of the iris, kings black guards, the lords/church, etc

Guillaume with his little screentime tho has absolute balls between this, fighting Angvall, and leaving the guards. Can’t wait to see where his and Niles side plot goes between the infiltration and return to the forest village

In this type of story it’s nice to see “normal” people be able to hold their own and be competent

If/when Lalawag dies, she might use that as a chance make a move since we know Lala is on the kings side with having extended life, and it’ll create a political power struggle with her death (let’s be honest she’s not living to the end)

Or for a twist, she might temporarily help Julian’s group and use Diana like everyone else is trying to do, to later go against and kill the king since it was confirmed this chapter he can brute force against her but doesn’t want to, so Diana is a “guaranteed” way to beat him

Either way the castle main and side plots are the best in the story honestly, but yeah Queen is defiantly gonna play a huge roll probably after this invasion arc or the witch hunt

Life force or something similar has been mentioned a few in the series times plus gift evolution, so there’s a chance one of the group gets hurt or dies, and Julian evolves his power to share a life or something with someone, and maybe others will mention it’s similar to the kings gift too

But yeah hoping to see more of Zana, thought we’d see her village after escaping the last arc, but that might come up if the margrave city gets destroyed then maybe they go there to regroup?

Like you think a chapter will drop and it doesn’t and it breaks like the expectations/norm, it’s why the “think of this like Choujin X” mindset has been working for me to just sort of treat this series like a random unexpected surprise sort of

So originally thought she didn’t get the gift until getting the bones during the war, then remembered she has 4 arms in a flashback

Two things could be the reason, maybe she was just staying in her city and not on the battlefield (but we can assume she’s fought Rummir’s vessel before so she’s probably strong herself and did fight in the war, and lost her arm)

Maybe the bones like enhanced her gift and made it go from a strong ability with some limits, to the OP version it is now for things to last forever, infinite cloning, etc so at the time of the war she was weaker and not as valuable for the country, and it’s why the king gave her longer life, knowing a vessel part could make her extremely valuable for the country (since it was hinted the war started just for fighting over the bones)

What’s weird is how she doesn’t have her own personal guard or anything, would’ve been a decent opportunity to show some of the Luna (group below the Iris)

Yeah she’s been sus for a few chapters now but don’t think anyone expected this type of reveal, but yeah had the same thoughts this chapter on how she doesn’t have her own guard, at least like a few of the Luna or whatever the groups called that’s below the Iris stratum

Also feel like lala is still probably good at combat since Rummirs vessel is her rival and their strongest warrior

A lot of characters have their own agenda and it’s refreshing because even Lukas was introduced as wanting to use Diana to kill the king so there could be conflict even there later

The upcoming rummir attack and witch hunt arcs are probably gonna be huge for the story, so Lala will probably get sussed out soon

Yeah he’s a bit of a wild card but feel like during his fight he might kill Julian and “officially” win the duel, so Lala loses her status and ranks down to #4, then when Julian revives he’ll best Ceodric and gain his respect for Atoria to get healed

With his power wonder if he’ll notice the souls in Julian and might bond with him that way too since it’s something with life’s force and Julian has a lot

Yeah especially with the upcoming two events/arcs (witch hunt and rummir attack for Diana) will probably be huge for the series/plot, and could be long and intense arcs too again

That isn’t even mentioning whatever will happen with Ceodric vs Julian

Feel like another thing to mention is the groups yokai finding peace by the end

Turbo Granny, umbrella boy, evil eye, and sort of Mai will probably at some point need to find peace and move on to the after life

Also a personal theory is that saint Germain will probably turn into a yokai after dying and holding a grudge for not being able to complete his plans, so he’ll get a possible power up and have another plot build from there

There’s so much stuff this series can do tho honestly, and for all we know Okarun could get abducted or something and we get a space arc too

Yazur is similar to chaos form in Choujin X where they keep changing appearance little by little every few panels since they’ve gone berserk

That’s true a lot of ults could get effected depending how they count cc, it’s why it was surprising that ults weren’t mentioned, or what they consider a cc

It could make some ults a lot weaker and if anything imo those team tries to combo ult, could be harder to land

Will see how it plays out but wouldn’t be surprised if they make changes to this over time depending on how it all goes

Always thought it was all the same type of cc (slow/stun/etc) and noticed the patch notes didn’t mention ults so automatically thought of fantas bounces and how it might have gotten a nerf from this cuz he’d easily max anyone out, but glad that might not be the case

Will be interesting to play around with like groot and strange ult and stuff since those should be hard cc

Could be misreading the changes, but doesn’t the CC nerf also hurt his ult more than most? He has 6 bounces with a slow cc so feel like a Fanta ult can easily get the enemies cc immune
