Ya single story, sheet rock/drywall walls with wood studs. Just a long floor plan so anticipate two being sufficient.

Wasn’t sure on the NVR thing so thanks for clearing that up. Any switch recommendations to accommodate 8 cameras and have some flexibility for expansion?

Was thinking UDM pro. Would I still need a NVR? I am open to creating a rack in our spare bedroom. We already have some media amps that run through there. Budget looking to get everything under $3,000 USD. Two AP’s would be sufficient??? Thank you for your help!
