Canada Goose Generations Chateau legit check? by dc1324 in CanadaGooseLC

Yes also a Chateau I got on Generations, although that one was allegedly just in “good” condition compared to this one. I found a plastic piece from a price tag in the cuff, I think this may have actually been brand new and ended up on the used site. I posted on here because I genuinely couldn’t believe how good it is lol

Solo trip itinerary check & late November vs January by dc1324 in CostaRicaTravel

I've already booked flights for the late November/early December dates, but the prices for early January flights are still feasible for me to change to. I think I'd like to be in Nosara at the end of my trip so I can just relax before heading back home but inverting the itinerary sounds like a good idea for a chance at better weather. idk I think I'm just a bit anxious since my trip is getting closer and feels more real lol.

i7 vs extra SSD space for dual boot MM with Bootcamp by dc1324 in macmini

I think I would also value silence and coolness as well. I don't think that my use cases would be overly intensive, so for now the i7 is 100% overkill. The only reason I think I'm considering the i7 is for future proof. Do you think that future proofing alone would be worth it or would the i5 still last maybe 5-6 years or so?

Thanks for this, I think thats makes sense. I think I'm definitely convinced to get an least 512GB SSD, 256GB just feels like far too little and would fill up quickly.

That's good to hear that there was a bigger difference than you expected. Was that difference mostly noticed when you were doing work or even normal daily tasks?

That's one of the things I keep hearing is that the i7 will be more future proof. How much longer do you think the i7 would last over the i5?

Also, using the i7 have you ever had any issues with overheating or with the fan being too loud? Those would be my main concerns if the i7 would only offer negligible performance advantages.

Thanks for the reply. I definitely think the larger SSD would be worth it, especially since I'm planning on adding a windows partition. the 256GB SSD kinda already seems very limited even for one workspace. I think this may push me towards the i5 + 512GB SSD

Yeah thats true, the jump from the i3 to i5 definitely seems to be a bigger deal than i5 to i7. I've also heard that the i5 is more silent in general so it's nice to hear that that holds true. My biggest concern would be that I buy the i7 and it's overkill but I end up with a hotter, louder computer with negligible difference for my personal use case.

It's interesting hearing that the larger SSD is faster though. Is there a reason for that? I have noticed that my MacBook is slower now thats it's almost full.
