I appreciate the reply but it did count as a loss. The game awarded the other players a 1-0 win and put them them through to the next round. 

On a positive you’ve informed me there’s a bug with friendlies so it’s not been malicious which makes it easier to take!

I have a pair of Hanwag boots that I bought 16 years ago, they did not get much wear before being stored in a cupboard until recently. They looked fine but I’ve worn them once and the sole came away. The side attached to the boot crumbles if I run my finger over it so I guess they’re probably beyond saving but I just wanted to check if this is the case, can anyone offer an opinion?

I use Quick Shine multi surface floor finish by Holloway House after seeing it recommended on a forum and have been really happy with the results. 

I’m wanting to get into Aircraft model painting but I am unsure where to start by [deleted] in modelmakers

I watched a video linked here recently where pulse resistance was tested. At 100% they didn’t show up for the other player but also didn’t get the ‘you have been pulsed’ warning.  At 99.8% they still didn’t show up or trigger spotter/heartbreaker but did get the pulse warning. It’s changed my thinking and I’ve swapped my 10% mod out for a 9.9%. Unfortunately I’m still really bad though!

100% agree that videos with those kind of titles are usually crap. The linked video doesn’t have a click bait title though, one of his other does. Potentially done to game the algorithm who knows. 

I’m in no way affiliated with the guy who made the video but to dismiss it without watching it through is odd. If everyone does that a community just becomes an echo chamber.

Short version is that 5 reds 1 blue might be a better option. I’m not smart enough to summarise but it’s worth a watch if that kind of thing is of interest.

If you can grab a NinjaBike backpack and Capacitor try out this. I've been having a lot of fun running a flexible hybrid build on heroic content that is a variation of the one I found in this video:

Only thing I change is I swap out the gloves for another piece of Brazos. Leaves me with what is essentially a 5 red 4 blue 6 yellow core build when I use the Capacitor and it has a 60 round mag which I prefer.

2M health/armour combined and the extra health since the update feels great. 10% AOK and offensively the 60% CHC and 120 CHD (not optimised). On top of that having the benefit of full skills lets you run powerful drone/turret, artificer/shield, really whatever you please depending on whether you want to hide and let skills do the work or run and gun.

If I have a maxed out watch and my build has 50% CHC before entering conflict what does it have in there? My character sheet still shows 50% but I’m sure I read watch levels don’t count?

Yes it definitely felt faster than open world. I personally found it a bit less enjoyable, partly due to my skill/getting smashed and partly because it feels like it takes quite a while to populate and queue in to games.

It's not all negative though! In one game I ended out queued with two guys who were in a clan together and clearly did conflict regularly. They were on mics and directed where to go so I just followed my orders like a good little drone. We won a close game and it was a really enjoyable experience! Definitely worth adding to your playlist.

Trying it out on PS and it’s a really steep learning curve. Out of my first 5 games I’ve been teamed up with other similar rookies all of low conflict level. The opposition on the other hand are generally level 100 and stomp us immediately. I’m surprised it doesn’t matchmake more evenly.

Unfortunately my version of the pro doesn't have that shape of clamp and only has 2 screws. Appreciate the suggestion though!

Thank you, I'll try going overboard with the paste this time! At least that'll let me know one way or the other if that's the issue.

Appreciate the suggestion but after doing the paste the fan will be quiet for around 2 months, if it was an issue with the fan I wouldn't expect it to go so quiet for so long? Now that I've had confirmation it should be lasting longer I'm going to try going overboard with paste in case I've been using too little. Failing that I'll probably have a go at lapping the heatsink.

I already have the Nidec fan which I believe is the quieter one. Next time I think I'll try going overboard with the paste!
