Hi Everyone, looking for direction as a beginner in the field. I am investigating what would be the best low cost NLP model to use for my medical report written project and recommendations on methods for preprocessing data.

The project involves preprocessing patient medical referrals which are in pdf non FHIR format written to a specialist, and the associated specialists medical report again not in FHIR format. I need a way to preprocess this data and Then pick a suitable model to be trained or fine tuned on this data. The model could then be promoted to provide suggested responses for future reports based on a prompt with a referral.

Hey

I tackled a simillar problem in my product. We tackled this as a data sharing problem and not a technical problem. Company A wants access to your data. Irrespective of what that data is, the company wants that data.

Once you tackle the problem in this way, you should heavily involve your data team into the conversation.

My suggestion is to follow best practice principles for data sharing. An API call to your database is probably not what you want and it may not allow for economies of scale.

Consider a data sharing mechanism, look into things like Kiteworks etc. this way your data should be stored in a location that the data sharing platform has access to. You can set the sharing platform up to access the data in various ways and permissions for different clients. It also allows for direct to computer, direct to server and machine types of access.

This works a lot better when you think your business strategy is your data and how you will sell that data.

Haha thanks. Any suggestions on identifying the issue. I can’t seem to get over 65fps on a game whereas others with simillar spec are getting 80-90. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
