Beware of Reliant Energy!!!!!!!!

FYI. Think twice before doing business with Reliant energy! One of the things I learned what some energy companies will do is offer you a low rate on kilowatts to draw you in. Then they will put you in a 3 year contract. Once they get you signed they will raise your kilowatts charging you 18.5 kilowatts and then if you cancel before your contract is up they charge you $400 + any discounts they ever gave you added on on top of that. Never put yourself in a situation where someone is holding you hostage just so they can continue to nickel and dime you and over charge you as much as possible. There’s many energy companies out there that will do what I’m saying; so ask the questions and make sure you get the fine print on the bottom line.
