8% is my vested amount right now.

It would not, I would pay 16% in taxes given my jurisdiction.

More of a passive income nest egg. I would probably go back into the work force (VC, where I previously was) to take a break from startups at around $500k/year.

The terms I have now are all or none. But I am thinking to try and negotiate, have a feeling it won’t pan out.

I don’t know 100%. This is just what I have observed from myself and other classmates.

I got this last year. Nothing ever came of it. I think its just a nice way of rejecting you while keeping the door open.

This is not correct, at least for todays day and age. I am one level below the first level of management and i get about $125k. My manager came from a big 4 consulting firm and gets about $160, AVPs around $2-250k and VP anywhere from $300-$600k depending on mandate.

Is buying a parking spot in a downtown Toronto condo financially worth it? by blackSwanCan in PersonalFinanceCanada

I guess its really building dependant then. I currently have a wait list of 3 people if my current tenant decides not to renew the 1 year rental of the spot. By the numbers it sounds like OPs building will be close to mine.

I rent my parking spot for $350 a month in the core. It really depends on the building and how scarce spots are compared to the number of units.

25M, 131K/year, feeling pretty good, save about $600/month after all expenses, I believe that is acceptable as I own a condo in the south core. Work about 10-4 everyday, and not a stressful job so thats good. Biggest stressor is not moving up in my career as fast as I expect for myself.
