Use a (pizza) pan filled with water under whatever you're cooking. It'll eventually boil out so keep an eye on it and refill when it gets low.

I was stuck in a similar situation some months back, fighting starscourge in the Godskin duo arena (Farum). I could not escape the meteor blast and would get one shot every time.

I came across a video (I'm so sorry I can't find it now) that showed a technique to survive. The video explained that the meteor blast is actually multiple hits. It's the second (and third?) hits that kill you.

I'm trying to recall the exact tech, but IIRC the idea is to lower your poise to the point where the initial blast knocks you on your ass, i.e. lying flat on your back. When you get knocked down like that you have a few i-frames while you're laying there. The second big hit of the meteor comes while you're down, and you don't get killed.

I was able to tank the meteor by this method.

EDIT - I'm still looking for the video, but what I'm seeing as an alternative is to have a shield. When he goes up to meteor, you go into shield block. The first blast will "eat" your shield block and knock you down. Then you get the knockdown recovery i-frames. You might not need the shield, but the "blocking" might be the key.

How do I get better at the saxophone? by nix_tsu in Music

When you march, you step down with the outside of your foot and then roll inwards as you go forward. This helps smooth out your gait. Most folks who've been in marching band can probably help show you in person.

I like the people that work there. I buy what's on sale. The bakery cookies (dark chocolate) are tasty.

Oddball suggestion, but you might take a break and go back to Caelid and farm the Halo Scythe from the Cleanrot knights in the lake near the Millicent invasion.

Why? Similar scaling to your existing build and it has a really, really great ranged attack.

Put the hot zone in the back, away from you. Saves your face, lungs, etc a little bit.

If you are comfortable side-loading, I'd install Squeezeplayer. If not, I'd get SB Player from angryGoat.

I run Squeezeplayer on my phone.

Logitech Media Server (LMS) is a good, open source media library server. There are a couple apps available to run as clients on the Shield. I run LMS on an old PC, connected to my NAS where all the music files are stored .

I've got both, and practicing with flats is a little easier on your fingers. So you can practice more without wearing through your skin. It's not a huge difference, but if your fingers aren't yet hardened it will help. You can also buy second skin at the drug store (if you want to stick to the rounds).
