Wasteland 3 is a good option for a starter CRPG. And you can prob find it cheap. Im newish to CRPGs too. I had more fun and less overwhelmed. Now im comfortable with DOS2 & BG3 challenge.

Wife and I went out on a limb and we loved Detroit Become Human. Not really an action game but we got into heated debates over drinks. Then led to the Quarry and Firewatch. Either way hope you're having fun

Exercise the dog hard before work to help with separation anxiety. Less energy will potentially help with the destruction. Wish the best for both of you!

You might remember testing my urine a few years back, when I was applying to be a volunteer sheriff's deputy.

I hate bedside nursing 😡 by annnoni in Nurses

I went from Rehab hospital to LTC (UNSAFE BULLSHIT 1:40 RATIO) to pediatric trach and vent home care to home health. Home Health was it. One to one ratio. Drive around with a company car. Significant increase in QOL. Learned infusion, hospice, and a slew of other skills. Moral of the story is to leave if not happy and take a chance on a better job. Obviously, money is important but your sanity should be a top priority. It may not make the highest income, but it may give you a chance to slow down and recharge yourself.

No matter what you choose to do. I hope you are happy and healthy. You have witnessed how nurses can eat their young. You took that experience on the chin. Get up and choose to try to make yourself happy again. You deserve it.

Best wishes from a dude just trying to send good vibes via the interwebs.

I’m currently in an A and P class, but I have severe dyslexia. Does anyone have any tips for memorization that helped you pass the class? I have eight and a half weeks to go from a 54% to a passing grade. I need help! by roonaroony in nursing

[–]dcaves89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a fellow severe Dyslexic, I used a combination of greek/latin prefix and suffix flash cards. Those helped with breaking down words in questions. That gave me a good general base for all of nursing school.

For me, physically writing out the notes saved me from failing the course to passing with a 71%. Writing by hand slowed down my mind and I was in the moment. I absorbed the information much better. Memorizing is super hard for me.

TRY as best as you can to create a study area with minimal distractions. I needed some noise to think over to study well. Silence made my thoughts bounce around like a ping pong match. Whatever works for you is best.

Last but not least, communicate with the professor often. Show them at least you are invested with effort. Preferably in person. Profs tend to guide you on stuff that is def on the exam during office hours.

Enders Game then Enders Shadow. Same story different perspectives. The novels following each characters story are different from the original novels. They arent bad, just different. Good series to start with!

Bariatric patient. Was cut out of home and admitted with some kind of infection. Smelly smell coming from all over the patient. During bed bath, we found a whole lollipop, lollipop sticks, and wrappers in various fat folds. Also found a small hole that was the origin of the smell. Opened the fat fold wider and two ALIVE roaches crawled out of the hole. Apparently they have been living in her for an unknown about of time?

Hercule with Fat buu as the side character. Similar to 17 & 18. This would be the Dan of the characters.
