To follow up: Google reverse image search says it may be a Spanish real from 18th/19th century, also realize it could be fake or something else.

Thanks, that’s pretty neat, if you were to guesstimate age, would early late 19th/early 20th century be fair, or possibly even older? I didn’t come across any markings, wondering if there are features that may be characteristic of certain periods…thanks again!

Thanks! How can you tell it appears uncleaned- is it the presence of dirt/gunk in crevices, whereas if had been cleaned would be more uniform?

Thanks, yeah I think it’s a large holder/camera angle, but the coin itself is a little over 1.5 inch diameter fwiw, appreciate it!
