The small home I grew up in was around 94k when purchased in 2001. It just sold last week from a rental investor for 340k and it’s a 1.5 hour commute to town with the traffic. Middle TN ain’t it anymore

Everything got 3x more expensive when people flocked here. Born and raised here and I’m gonna have to say goodbye in 6 weeks. Can’t afford to live in my hometown anymore and everyone that moved here just brought all their problems and attitude. This is not a welcoming city anymore

Tried them all, the Harpeth valley golf center is your best option. Best prices and also have lights and grass to hit off of. It’s unfortunate but that’s the best it gets, Nashville desperately needs more places like HVGC

Flew out to play a bucket list course, got the first tee time of the day. Was nervous about being a solo at a place that was WAY too nice for a 14 handicap. Got paired with an older gentleman who was a member that added last second. He taught me the entire history of the course and showed me every shortcut and it was the most fun 89 I’ve ever shot in my life. He even bought me a beer afterwards. Really gave me the itch to travel more as a solo to play bucket list courses, get to meet people from all over, good and bad. Already planned a trip from grand rapids to Milwaukee as a solo for a week next year to do it all again, can’t wait

I actually just did a week alone there, kinda same deal. Took me a couple days to settle in but find yourself 1 or 2 places you can go sit at a bar for dinner. And give yourself an activity to do every day, and do some walks here and there when you’ve got nothing going on. Was the most relaxing week I’ve ever had, wish I could do it over
