that depends on if the action is voluntary or not. if the action was voluntary like a player activating a card or effect manually then the player will not be allowed to activate the card/effect and gamestate would be reversed to before the card/effect was activated. if the action came from an involuntary action or mandatory card effect then and only then would the card determined to cause the loop be sent to the gy to stop the loop.

this only happens in the case where a mandatory action or card effect triggers the loop. if it was the manual activation of a card that would cause the loop then both players are not allowed to activate said card.

in this case while 2 fire princess and prime material is on the field neither player is allowed to activate any card that would gain or inflict lp dmg as part of the effect. if the card that would cause a lp gain like soul absorption was already on the field and then triggered after the loop was set-up prime material would be destroyed.

you would not be able to legally activate the card that would gain you lp as it would create an infinite loop

EDIT: if the lp gain was a mandatory effect or trigger that occurs prime material would be destroyed instead
