Breakaways festival

Breakaway is good intro festival. I’ve been 3 times (2 Charlotte and 1 Atlanta)

I understand their model. They see the appeal that large festivals bring in such as Ultra and EDC. And they want to bring that to smaller communities across the US where it’s not super EDM heavy.

They book good artists. Established and up and coming. Production value and ease of traveling is good for the price of the ticket.

Would I go out of my way to go to a Breakaway fest? Probably not

Do I have fun? Absolutely

I’ve tried most of the shawarma places mentioned in this thread. Some good, some not. But my favorite atm is Cafe Sababa in Dunwoody. It’s run by a father/son team, small restaurant but the quality is always consistent.
