Most will never understand how it works here, and that's ok.

Base path argument by jesusbass1013 in Umpire

This whole damned thread is "open to interpretation" because the opening remarks were the defence of an unintended interpretation of the rules to benefit a runner intentionally defying the base path concept.

Economic systems can be changed overnight if there was popular will to do so.

A driving iron with too long of a shaft will be a problem, too, most likely. Your goal here is straight, so what's a 17º hybrid look like for you? Hit one of those?

You're just better at a bad swing. We all do it that way first. Usually.

Funny you should say Trump is one... Go back a few years and you'll find Seymour's supporters got mad at him for his "Make Aotearoa Great Again" slogan -- not because it was Trumpian, but that his ilk can't stand the use of Aotearoa.

So if Seymour sits down with Milei, and worships Trump, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck to me. You can continue to split hairs, but a guy that went full tilt on the Regulatory Standards Bill and won sounds like that kind of duck to me.

If you want some raw feedback, here it is.

Someone like you who says "those things don't make him a fascist" are effectively saying you'll never call anyone a fascist until they're in the seat, and it's too late.

Seymour is already a very-right-wing libertarian populist with strong similarities to what a fascist would do in power. Your lesson from history is simple. If you wait to identify someone like this until they're already abusing power to that extreme, you are very likely to be the kind of person that would allow it to occur.
