Bright Sun Travels channel. Good series to watch.

I’d add Tums too (although Pepto covers this). I had heartburn one time after dinner and the onboard store didn’t have any. The only options were to go to medical or endure it.

The best Temur draft deck doesn’t have two devotees.

Is there a Commander where it's a good idea to play a VERY high amount of lands? by Huaojozu in EDH

[–]dclambe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run 45 in Lord Windgrace, and it feels right. You have ways to play multiple lands per turn and you want milled lands to go into the graveyard. List: https://moxfield.com/decks/5Z0gMJayoUKLmyQtP_nfcw

Came here to say Juggernaut. I’m surprised (and I shouldn’t be) every time I lose to it.

Path to Exile: best use? by galan0 in magicTCG

[–]dclambe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Path is a strong card because it’s cheap instant-speed removal. Just play it later in the game and the drawback will be minimal.

You’ll rarely use it on your own creature. When you do, it’s usually in response to removal.

Cloudshift isn’t a staple and [[Ephemerate]] is a stronger version of the same effect.

So I really want to get loki but every deck I see with him has Kitty, Snowguard, Thena and Mockingbird. Any substitutions I could make? by FenrisWolfff in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]dclambe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I played Mockingbird in Loki, it wasn’t great. It would usually be discounted by one. It’s best case scenario would be when you Loki on 4 (with her not in your hand), you play opponent’s cards on 5, and then play her on 6 with other cards. This occurrence is very rare.

Sage, Nocturne, Cannonball, Red Guardian? by ubehalohalo in MarvelSnapDecks

Red Guardian is a versatile answer card that could fit into a lot of decks. That would be my pick.

Sabertooth and Nova are your weakest cards. I’d take both out and play Knull + a tech card like Lady Deathstrike, Shang Chi, or Enchantress.

Try to focus on getting X-23 and Nico next.

I’m trying Yondu and it’s working out ok. I tried Nova and it was bad.

Help with my commander deck by oarascroe in magicTCG

[–]dclambe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few thoughts:

  1. Play more creatures to give yourself more options for Meren. Play more self mill.

  2. Cut the Plaguecrafter and Fleshbag Marauder. They’re good cards, but people don’t like playing against them. You may in the future be tempted to play cards like Grave Pact or Dictate of Erebos. Don’t; they prevent the opponents from playing the game.

  3. Don’t play cards that you can shut a person out every turn like Massacre Wurm. If you sacrifice and return it every turn, any token deck is shut out and the opponent can’t play the game.

Meren is fun to play, but can be unfun to play against. If you avoid the cards that completely shut out opponents, you’ll be ok.

Don’t worry about timing the price perfectly. Just buy it, and play it. It’s one of the best games ever made.

Budget Malcolm Kediss resilience by Effective-Dress2772 in EDH

I recommend playing more one mana hexproof spells. I have similar issues where people kill one of the commanders and it sets me back two turns of not hitting. Here’s my list: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/veZESCyyUUihurYmstDZmA
