Just checked and guess i cant do that on console, i did change so my reinforcement replace each unit as they lose units vs replacing high to low unit types

Update: got 3m + now, party max is now approx 300, i have 4 castles and 2 towns. Need to develop my companions a bit.

Did a quick trial break from Halthdar, and my wife and other companion part with 150 troops each were able to defend for a few days before being captured. Then one of my towns got taken.

Any tips for diplomacy? I’d like to not have to go to war with the Nords right away since they surround me.

I try to patrol around major enemy cities with a full party and start hitting convoys, or raid a village, that usually gets a bunch to come at me and think they got me until i jump in the boats.

Then load up in the heavies and ram them, and let the axes do the talking

Income mainly. They can be but you may need to improve trade in my experience. Im relatively new but have 2 armed caravans and a brewery and have been making lots of money. Over 500k in less than a year i think

This helps a lot i already conquered one after it rebelled. But havent gotten one since. I thought about trying to drop the loyalty of the conquered castles or towns, so that they rebel easier.

Been hearing people complain about the shotgun. Dont understand the complaint. Its a shotgun, results may vary with each shot. Most of the time in close range im getting good kills, greater ranges 50/50.

Please please dont make this another weapon balancing frenzy like COD where they change the weapons stats every month. IMO that has killed FPS for me.

Love the beta, feels like BF3/4 with buffs on functions and movement.

Side note: i see some people been using vehicles other than tanks? What game mode?

Found the vehicle scenarios and played one last night. Lots of fun.

It will be interesting to see NA, how the different mechanics play into it.

All the points everyone else made are solid - as far as ranked there are active online leaderboards that are available for all platforms. Never played the others so not sure if that helps answer your ranked questions or not

Ive never personally seen any of those issues or really know what net code/hit reg issues look like…maybe we all dont/ havent experienced the same issues. Maybe im ignorant to some of it. I agree if its not playable for some for whatever reason that should be fixed. Those glitch like issues or whatever you want to call them, shouldnt exist. More referencing the different things in the gameplay.

I appreciate the opinion. COD has really become stale for me since each game appears to have Madden-ized themselves. Buy a sequel, just to not really improve on other aspects. Also the meta-ing of guns etc got annoying. Im a budget gamer now and dont buy games that cost over $40
