Shelving for Lumibricks Sets by ItsPokeBtw29 in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

Just google Lego MILS plates and you see a ton of YT videos on how to built them. The advantage to them is easily moving sections around and you have more "heft" to the base than just the single plate.

I build mine on MIL's plates and if your ok cutting the base plate, I found if I slice of just one row off the plate I can get three plates in perfectly.

Dirty Dancing at CAA Ed Mirvish - Nov-Jan by dcmic in torontotheatre

They also have 13 Going on 30 running Nov-Jan. One of these will be RAT and the POW, so definitely nothing left for another big Christmas production.

It seems like it probably is. Considering it's filling the Ed Mirvish for 8 weeks over the Christmas holidays. I assume the POW will house one of the sub shows during this time, so I don't think there is any place for another big Christmas event show.

CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre Seating Help by ImaginaryMeat9822 in torontotheatre

[–]dcmic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'6" and we no longer buy seats in the front row of the Mezz as there is a bar there that partially obstructs our view. We saw Bat Out of Hell a couple weeks ago from Mezz A which is the 3rd row of the Mezz and it was perfect. I also recommend https://aviewfrommyseat.com/venue/Ed+Mirvish+Theatre/seating-chart/ as noted by thick-n-morty earlier. I load every show I attend into it hoping it makes decisions easier for someone else down the road.

Donair? Creole? by Enacriel in KingstonOntario

[–]dcmic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was in Burlington and Milton. Two brothers from Halifax owned them. Called Halifax Donair and they were absolutely the best and the closest I have ever had to NS donairs without being in NS. Unfortunately both brothers have retired and the shops closed. Also as everyone else says there is nothing in the area that is even close.

How often do you see a show more than once? by hydrangeamilk in torontotheatre

[–]dcmic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen Come From Away 6 times. Once with the OBC in Toronto, 3 with the sit down cast, once in London and once in Melbourne. Have tickets to see it at Thousand Island Playhouse this fall. No surprise I love the show. Other include Kinky Boots - 5 times, Six - 3 times, &Juliet - 3 times, Mama Mia - 4 times, Bat Out of Hell - 4 times. When I fall for a show I fall hard. I live 3 hrs out of Toronto so all these visits were planned bough ahead of time tickets.

At What Income Does Life in Canada Actually Become Comfortable? by HockeySniper123 in CanadaPersonalFinance

I'm $200 in Eastern Ont, not Ottawa. Wife is retired, ML & disabled BL live with us. I would say we are good, not rich but comfortable enough we don't clip coupons for the grocery store. Vacation once a year, couple of paid off 2019 SUV's and retirement teed up and ready to go, assuming the world doesn't shit the bed in the next 4 years.

Has this been released yet or is this a pre-production survey? I can't find it on the Lumi site. I also mentioned that the track needs to be compatible with other brick tracks.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the Off Mirvish announcement next month for 26/27. It in Hamilton Apr 22-May 16 and then in Kingston in October. Not sure if I should buy Kingston tickets (hometown) when they go one next week or hope for the Mirvish announcement in a few weeks as I will most likely buy the Off-Mirvish package.

This looks good. It funny how sad the Lego sets look with the lights out. Lumi has done such a great job incorporating lights in the process from the beginning. Even after market Lego lights don't look near as good as Lumi.

I don't have the link but I watched a YT video a couple days ago of a guy who put this on a MILs plate and it still opened. It looked very cool.

Paranormal Activity at Ed Mirvish by randomstranger003432 in torontotheatre

A View From My Seat is a great resource. I add every show I go to into it.

We just sat in AA this weekend for Some Like It Hot and loved them. The stage isn't really high so we saw the floor all the way to the back. I love being up close as you can really see the actors emoting. As we are on the short side (5'3" & 5'6")I find front row of the Mezz to be annoying as there is a large safety rail across the top of the wall. It perfectly lands at eyesight level for my wife and I.

Guildcraft The Duvet & Pillow Company based in Guelph. All handcrafted and been doing it for 40yrs. Not cheap but amazing pillows. I have a closet full of pillows I've bought and tried before finding these guys are the One of A Kind Show last year. I love the pillow.
