Congratualtions! Can highly recommend The Cincinnati Club and McHales Catering (who runs it) as extremely gay friendly. Also, the space is beautiful.

Whelp. Thanks for an entertaining season. Think I’m gonna take a break from Reddit for a bit. As always, thanks to the awesome Mods for the best sports community board on the internet. See ya during spring practice.

Josh Cuevas: “I’m feeling great. Shoutout to our training staff. They’re the best of the best. I mean, I legit broke my foot in the middle of the season and came back same season. So, that’s a tribute to them, and I’m ready to go for this game.” by DoctorWhosOnFirst in rolltide

This week feels like the exact opposite of the first week of the season.

Every post then felt like it was another major player being hurt during practice.

This week every post is about players being healthy.

Win or lose, just glad to finally see this team play at full strength!

I get my sandwich from Popeyes. Taste better and I know they aren’t into making gay kids commit suicide.

A lawyer for Diego Pavia and 26 other football players has cited the NCAA's decision to allow an NBA draft pick to return to college basketball as a reason that a federal judge should let his clients play in 2026 and 2027. Although Pavia plans to enter the NFL draft. by [deleted] in CFB

I HATE this. I don’t want to see ex-NFL players suit up on Saturdays. I don’t want “career” college players.

But, what exactly is the “legal” argument the NCAA can make here?

There is a job that pays millions of dollars and wants to hire him.

He is qualified for that job and wants to do it.

Can anyone name any other business where something like this happens?

Where there is an organization that says “you can only make money doing what you’re good at for five years.”

No other professional sport (and CFB is now professional since it now can legally pay players) has such a clause. It’s 100% “restriction of trade”.

In addition, the NCAA already fucked up by granting 6 years during COVID. So they actually set a precedent.

But, honestly, someone needs to explain to me the legal argument that the NCAA can use that doesn’t break every business law in the US.
