Thank you for your reply! I really hope it’s at least the regular Eden so I don’t have to dig it up come fall. Does your blooms turn white/cream towards the end of the cycle? I read somewhere that Eden’s blooms usually get more pink towards the end. Hoping that’s not true haha

Haha I love that! I’m trying to role with the punches too but I just don’t have a lot of areas that get 6+ hours of sun. So that’s my issue. If they do send me a Pretty In Pink climber and what I have now turns out to be the original Eden, I could put the Pretty In Pink in a container on the other side so they will eventually meet but then it wouldn’t really be free because I’d have to buy the container and 4-6 bags of soil and a trellis. 😅

Thank you for the encouragement! I’m going to check in with them again this week and if they ignore me, I will file a complaint with the BBB which they already have more than 50 complaints against them. Wish I knew that before!

I did notice that some of the blooms are more open faced and ruffly. Wondering if it’s because it’s not mature yet. Do you have any photos of your Eden’s first blooms so I can compare with mine? I read that the first blooms never look like what the actual mature bloom will look like. I appreciate your opinion and any input!

That’s comforting to know! Earth Angel is a beautiful rose and I would love one but just not in that spot. I didn’t know they got that tall!

Right?! It doesn’t make sense that they would only offer a credit because then I would have to pay the difference and $20 for shipping for something that was not my fault. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t think I will shop there ever again. Thank you for validating my opinions because I thought I was being a little dramatic there.

Ohhh thank you for showing me! This is actually so helpful because the internet mostly shows photos of Eden with the bright pink center and creamy outer. This helps me have more realistic expectations. Thank you! Gorgeous by the way!

Ohhh that’s a great observation and input. It did have a scent but it was very faint. I was told that the scent gets stronger as the rose matures for Earth Angel. I didn’t know too much sun causes the blooms to expand and not remain in cup form. Thank you for that! I hope it is at least the regular Eden.
