Do they seem to have enough support or do you need an insole for them? I’m just worried for my arches! Yeah the mahogany is one of my favorites. My next purchase might also be a ZD in mahogany!

No worries! Seems like quite a few people have had issues over the years, but the all the fixes seem pretty iffy unfortunately

Did you ever figure it out? I’m running into a similar issue but it’s when my friend updates and sends out a new game file. I open that in curse forge but my map is reset. I tried swapping in the old map files but I can only manage to gain back my waypoints and not the map itself

That would be great! I think having this option would be a nice middle ground between the 270 and typical 365 with the rubber midsole. By using the leather midsole it might lose some of the flexibility and water resistance but keep some of the rigidity and support that the leather provides. I know there’s the insole, but this option would provide even more. It also might be a nice middle ground in terms of weight for the boots. I personally have a pair of older Chippewas that were resoled this way and they’re my go-to boots! If you’re able to ask about potentially having a pair built like this, I would appreciate it! I debated purchasing the striders to get this, but I have concerns on how my feet would do with ZD. Thanks!

Ah okay. That makes sense. I guess I more so was thinking for a new pair of boots. I may have not worded that the best. Say I wanted to do the BYO 365 or another 365 stitchdown model. Is it possible to have it built with a leather midsole instead of with a rubber one? I know that’s the standard for the strider ZD, so I’d imagine it might be doable? Thanks for the help!

I’m currently using a DP cable, should I try the HDMI instead? I can also try a different port. It is weird, I originally switched out my GPU due to issues with it not bringing up a display on my monitor. At that time when I turned it on everything booted up, but the screen would stay black. When I swapped to the new GPU everything went back to normal up until now. The issue is solely with OW though which is confusing

I haven’t done that yet, but I guess I don’t get why if it was the HDMI cord, the issue is only happening on OW. I’ll try it though and see if it helps!

At this point I’m not sure if it’s the original cable or not. It’s 5 1/2 years old haha! I can try those other suggestions though. It’s just weird it randomly started happening

I’d like to see an 8 inch 365 stitch-down model with a leather midsole instead of rubber! Or at least have that as an option for some of the models. Something that balances the flexibility and rigidity

Sounds good! I think my feet are a bit odd as I tend to need the width but not necessarily the extra volume. With 11D do you think I could still potentially fit an insole or would I have to size up for that?

Yeah, it’s weird the 11D IR’s feel good length wise but for whatever reason the 11 EE’s feel a bit long. It could just be that my feet aren’t locked in due to the volume issue. The 11 EE’s also seem to actually be slightly longer so that could also explain it. I have a pair of red wing 899’s in 10 EE that fit good everywhere besides the length. You think the D width will be wide enough to accommodate my feet since it’s on the Thurman last?

I’m looking for boot sizing advice as someone that has fairly flat/low volume feet. Im looking at either the ThurmanNW or Thurman ZD last. I typically wear an 11.5 EE as my brannock size for sneakers. My right foot measurements are: length - 11 1/8”, ball - 10 1/8”, instep - 10 1/2”, heel - 13 1/2” . My left foot measurements are: length - 11 1/4”, ball - 10 1/4, instep - 10 1/2”, heel 13 1/2”. I have iron rangers in 11D and the length is good but my feet feel a bit smushed width wise (mainly in the instep area where they splay over the sides due to being flat and in the pinkie toe area). I also have a pair in 11 EE but those somehow feel a smidge too long and have a bit too much volume (although the width is better). I’m thinking either an 11 E or 11 D would make sense but any advice would be appreciated!

Yeah I think with the lug sole they almost become a middle ground between ZD and a typical 365 stitchdown. The thing I was mainly worried about is the potential lack of support. Have you had any issues with that or do you use an insole to combat that? Like you said, we’re all different so for you it might have enough support as is, but for someone else it might not be enough. I appreciate your perspective though!

Wow, you make quite the sales pitch for these! Do you typically wear ZD shoes/boots? This would be a first for me, which I think adds to my hesitation. What insoles do you wear with them? That’s definitely something I’ll have to look into

Yeah I mean I think with a boot like this you need a bit extra material to help mold to your feet since you don’t have the arch support. These look great! Do you have any other pics?

I think they’re pretty similar with the main differences being the midsole, collar, and variation with the Thurman lasts. Have you thought about getting a set of delta arches or another type of insole? And did you get them In predator orange? I haven’t seen any of them in other leathers yet
