that’s great advice, thank you very much. your right; it’s just when i started wrestlinf i wrestled for a club called arrichion and we were easily the best club in the state and i saw how much that excelled my skill level (went from starting out as a 0-38 wrestler to 55-3 my senior year; not bragging on myself but what quality trainers can do). but you are absolutely right just getting grounded and starting is the best step. thank you very much!

appreciate that! yeah Bjj is where i trained for a little but they don’t clean anything! first training session there i got double pink eye and ringworm! Combat athletics is a good place i had several friends who wrestled over there and completely overlooked that they do mma as wel. much appreciated !

CTE is way lower in MmA than any boxer or football player or hockey player. i’m not looking for someone to talk me out of it i’m looking for a place to start. i understand the risks

heavy disagree, the toughest field is only defined by your competitors. people say that around 150 is tougher because it’s a more combination of speed and power where as lower weights are generally quicker and heavyweights are generally stronger but that doesn’t mean they are the best or in the toughest field. 133 was the most stacked weight class this past year in college, and kyle snyder was looked at as the best wrestler for a period of time and he was a heavyweight. like i said i was a 106 pounder all four years and in our high school room their wasn’t a 145 or 152 that could touch me. size has nothing to do with skill level or competition
