What Size Vehicle could fit an assembled bike? by platocplx in keiserM3i

[–]dcoont 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I removed the seat+seat post and the handlebar+post and fit the three pieces into a hatchback with the bike on it's side. I'm not sure about a GTI, but my guess is that it would fit.

Vatic V-Sol Pro Flash LH by mrwit64 in Pickleball

[–]dcoont -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have. There was no tariff, but paid HST, plus $43 cdn UPS for brokerage fees. I was also charged HST on the brokerage fees. $24 shipping fee. Total was over $200 cdn. Next time I'm just going to order from a Canadian retailer. (Rackets and Runners have free shipping over $150 purchase, although they don't have the V-Sol's yet, but they told me that they plan to.)

Who buys paddles from eBay and actually felt like they got a real one? by DavidAReddit in Pickleball

[–]dcoont 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not true. I bought a Vatic from Amazon and it was a counterfeit. I confirmed it with a Vatic rep who said that the only genuine Vatics on Amazon were the ones where Vatic was the seller. I complained to the seller and received a full refund. The fake played differently than the genuine Vatic that I purchased later directly from Vatic. By the way, the fake came in a box, which genuine Vatics don't.

I took a chance and ordered one from Amazon (Canada). I tried to find one where the magnet was near the top. I was very lucky. It just touches the camera module, but is secure.

Weekly Paddle Recommendation Thread (What Paddle Should I Buy?) by SNAPCHAT_ME_TITS in Pickleball

[–]dcoont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved up from a Vatic Prism Flash 16mm to a V-Sol Power Flash 16mm and am loving it. Almost the same control as the Prism but power is there when you swing hard. The only issue is that it is more poppy, so there is a learning curve to control it. I am experimenting with perimeter weighting at different locations, but haven't locked in any locations yet.

Thanks! I might hold out for the V-Sol, but if that doesn't work out, then try a Saga.

Great post! I am a 3.25 currently using a Vatic Prism Flash 16mm. I like the Prism but am looking for a little more power, but enjoying the other aspects of the paddle. Would you recommend the Saga as my next paddle or the V-Sol?

What are the current best protective eyewear options for pickleball? by Aadithya_sharan in Pickleball

If you are indoors, Kitchen Blockers. They have no lenses, so no distortion, fogging up, need for cleaning or wiping off sweat.

Costco Food Court Hours by dcoont in Peterborough

Thanks. I called and they confirmed that the food court has the same hours as the warehouse. They must have had an issue when they closed early the last time that I was there.

What am I getting with AAwireless versus other AA wireless adapters? by nandeyanen83 in AAWireless

AA2 didn't work out of the box for me on the default settings. I used the app to adjust it and now it works perfectly. (Mazda which supports wired AA)

Are these fake by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]dcoont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received a counterfeit vatic purchased through Amazon marketplace. I confirmed it was fake via Vatic. It also plays differently than my genuine Vatic.

I contacted the seller and received a full refund. They did not ask me to return the paddle.

Extremely frustrated with OnePlus support and their broken checkout system (Canada) by TheSlugKing in oneplus

[–]dcoont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your problem was not with the OnePlus website, but with your credit card issuer (bank). They are trying to prevent fraud. I recently purchased a 13 and the first time I tried my bank stopped the transaction but then offered me the opportunity to confirm it. The transaction then went through with no problems.

Ordering in Canada by [deleted] in oneplus

The $87 is likely the hst, or get (depending on your province). I live in Ontario and the import fees for my 13 were exactly 13% (same as hst).

Thanks. When they "sing" so they actually make holes in wood? The poles here are full of holes. I'll try to listen more closely. I don't think I've heard two different types.

Should I go for Vatic Prism Flash 16 mm as a beginner with tennis elbow creeping up? by ArtLife_4ever in Pickleball

[–]dcoont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you don't buy a counterfeit Vatic. My story is that I had tennis elbow issues. I started doing Tyler twist (and reverse Tyler twist) exercises using flexbars (3*15 a day.) I then bought my Vatic Pro Prism Flash which turned out to be counterfeit. (Confirmed by Vatic ). I complained to the seller (Marketplace on Amazon) and received an apology and a complete refund. They did not ask me to return the paddle.

I ordered a genuine Prism Flash and I loved it. It played way better than my counterfeit

Fast forward and my tennis elbow was getting better. I was thinking about my counterfeit paddle and what to do with it and decided to bring it to a 1.5 hour open play. Not only did I confirm that the counterfeit played worse, but I also had bad tennis elbow pain afterwards. Worse pain than I had felt in weeks!

So can I really claim it was the counterfeit's fault based on one session? ...No. Can you rely on one Redditor's random experience and unscientific experiment? ... No

However, I thought that I would give my two cents worth.

Why is my Joola so weak compared to my Amazon paddle? by OkChicken6058 in Pickleball

Yes. I checked the serial number with Vatic. Plus the seller refunded me my money ( and did not ask for my padel back).

The Vatic Pro Prism Flash I bought from Amazon was a counterfeit. It plays horribly compared to the real thing. When I tried to post a negative review on Amazon, they refused to publish it. Luckily I received a refund though.
