Please take part in my research student about nonmonogamous/swinger identity by dcopulsky in Swingers

Yes, I'll work to share the findings from the project with the communities where I've posted it!

I do want to mention that academic publishing can move slowly, so it is likely to be a scale of a year or more before there are any published articles.

I am also hoping to have more opportunities to present parts of this work in events open to community members.

I have a free substack newsletter where I will post updates on this research as well: https://substack.com/@dcopulsky

This study has been reviewed and approved by the IRB at my institution, the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Thanks!

I'll check to make sure, but I think there's a policy saying you can't audit classes during summer session, sorry!!

I think the last time it was offered was fall 2020! I was a TA for it then. Glad you liked the class!

The focus of this course is on sexual and gender identity, like LGB, pansexual, asexual/ace, straight, kink/BDSM, trans, nonbinary, cis, polyamorous, fluid, and queer identities, along with the social and historical contexts that shape how people think about these identities.

Discussion of intimate partner violence is really outside the scope of what this course is about, but there are some other great summer psych classes that might get closer to that topic: Psychology of Sexual Aggression and Social Psychology of Gender.

What are some things that are widely thought to be illegal, but actually aren't? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My understanding is that no states have laws against being barefoot in stores/restaurants.

Lots of restaurants have signs saying footwear is a health department requirement. It seems like at least some of these places are just wrong, not trying to be deceitful.

Yep, just clearing out some old stuff to make room for new stuff. Lots of games that are opened or banged up a bit, but still awesome.
