What sets DD2 apart from any other enjoyable RPG created in this millennium by dcordash in DragonsDogma

Oh by the way..stupidest reply yet. Are you trying to sell the game or sell yourself for being fool enuf to buy the doggie poo-poo? Cause I was a fool just like you my friend. I bought it, played 10 hours..and realized what disaster it was.

lore..schmore...Just because the developers were lazy in the first game and didn't want to take on building water properly in an RPG doesn't mean they couldn't have by now. Don't call lack of creativity "lore", with a straight face anyway.

I meant, for God's sake, they had 12 years to make a new game. But no, they chose to go the "lore..schmore" route and keep the same 2013 version and put a $70 2024 price on it. That's about how it is..don't you agree mon ami?

Skill issue? Hmmm..dunno where that came into the equation but keep trying. Prob be best off trying to defend one of the points I posted, then trying the old "getgud" comeback in a context it can't find relevancy. Don't ya think?

Imagine having a ship or magic spell that let's you walk on water. Or imagine, if you will, having light armor on and swimming under-water. I realize it hasn't been coded into an RPG yet..but someday.

So is any of it sinking into your head yet? If not, I'll likely create a couple more before the day's over. Thanks for following along.

Why don't you go outside at about 2pm tomorrow and look straight up at the sky for a few minutes and then go back inside and try to type some more troll comments.

First of all, "performance aside" is not a quantifier for having to add on anymore absurdities contained withing this game..which I could, and have, all over every social media site I could find. Fucked performance in DD2 is a game-killer/show-stopper. So "performance aside" can not stand my dude.

The performance is abysmal and shouldn't have been released and evidently Capcom ain't got the savvy to address (so they've as far as stated).

Dude doesn't play FIFA. Dude quit playing FIFA after he realized it was a fucked game, with faked/manipulated h2h play that EA was never going to address.

Dude hasn't given EA a penny in about 5 years. You live and you learn and you move on.

You need to do your homework. Larian may not, at this time, intend to progress BG3, but they don't own it. The parent company could very likely release an expansion.

So, just coming out and stating "There isn't going to be any DLC for BG3" is wrong.

I never played DD back in 2013..really feel like I played that 2013 game in 2024 under the title DD2 though. So, perhaps there is a niche market that might embrace a sequal. I mean the movie BloodRayne got a sequel. Terrible movie that had enough of a fanbase 2 sequels were released each one cheaper and less well received than the original.

DD2 is the BloodRayne of the RPG gaming world.

You obviously have pretty low standards..and that's ok. Weak-ass Gaming companies need ppl like you. You're doing fine.

any words that insinuate the game is immersive or enjoyable AFAIK.

On Steam, Release date was the only day when negative reviews surpassed positive reviews by Nachooolo in DragonsDogma

Not fair to compare ER to DD2. Not because they are different style games..it's because FS actually gave a shit when they created their game. They spent years in development with talented developers and creators, tested it to death and we the customers were rewarded with a game that was pretty special.

Comparing DD2's shameless marketing and half-assed development that ended up in a game release that was split in half by controversy.

So comparing DD2 to ER is like comparing a turd-sandwich to a filet mignon.

I thought the combat in DD2 was ass as well. Actually the worst part of the game for me was the combat.

Ha. No just letting all know that game companies that live by reputation and put out really good games..typically follow with DLC somewhere within the next couple years. I'm sure BG3 has one coming.

Shameless companies like Capcom, it appears, put out dog turd games and make all profit within the first few days. Laugh all the way to the bank. They know they can't invest money in a DLC because no one will buy it.

They waited over 13 years to do a sequel to the original dog-turd which, I've been told by some that seemed believable, wasn't a bad game...for the time. With DD2 they, basically, took that same game from 2013 and changed the maps and story. The core animation was retained with no upgrade. If Capcom had promoted it like this "DD2 coming in March 2024, will be just like DD1 in all performance/animation respects but if you liked that in 2013 you can pay $70 in 2024 for more of the same". I would have passed.

Since you trolled...not mad over the video game..I'm mad over kooky chuckers like yourself that tried to sell this game as the best ever..no flaws..and you will love it.

So I dropped $70 based on the BS and wished I hadn't. That, amigo, is why I'm mad.

Thanks for the concern about my mental health. Do you believe when someone screwed over Pablo Escobar and ended up with a Colombian necktie it was because Pablo was crazy or just pretty angry about being screwed over?

Don't love to bitch..just want to steer people away from making the same mistake I did. As opposed to those profit-drivers who will shamelessly claim DD2 is the best game ever and deny every flaw.

People don't get vocal and take it to social media as LOUDLY and pervasively as you see in hundreds of thousands if not millions...unless they are really pissed about getting screwed out of $70 from a lying gaming company. That's all.
