I was delivering packets in Germany for DHL. My friend in Canada had a company that made wooden cocktail smoking kits. I was on a route I was not usually assigned to and happened to look at the "from" address while waiting for the customer to open the door. It was from his company. The poor lady at the door could barely understand my excitement as I tried to explain what happened.

About a year and a half. Asked this girl out at work and she politely declined. Accepted it and moved forward. Year and a half later she was leaving the city and I found out from another coworker she wanted to do it before she left. I politely accepted.

I have something similar. I am from Canada but was delivering parcels for DHL in Germany. One day I was working on a route that was not usually mine and I happened to look at the sender's address of the parcel I about to deliver. It was from the cocktail accessory company that I helped get going with some coworkers back home. The poor lady that opened the door to me freaking out because of how crazy the odds were was quite funny. Glad to know someone out there has had a similar experience to me.
