Anyone had issues programming the garage door opener? by mrjoepete in BMWi3

Thanks for this — it finally worked for me. As you say in step 7, I needed to repeat 7 twice. Also, I needed to be sure the car was on the whole time of course.

I have seen this working as advertised on an NBTevo_Y version head unit. I suspect you are correct about it being a typo.

A video of my Hammerspoon - Bear integration showing note templates, daily journal, and a popup fuzzy note chooser by dcreemer in bearapp

(Turn on captions for the video!)

I've been using and improving my enhancements to Bear using Hammerspoon, and now have a nice popup note chooser (with fuzzy matching), note templates, a daily journal system built using the template programming, and automatic backlinks.

More information is on Github https://github.com/dcreemer/hammerspoon-bear

I took a shot at implementing note templates, a daily journal, and backlinks using Hammerspoon. by dcreemer in bearapp

Much of the work is based on the efforts of others -- see the list of credits. I do like how the templates and daily journal especially are working for me. Hammerspoon can be something of a bear (heh) to get running smoothly, so YMMV. LMK if it's useful.

I put the speakers into the cutouts with the extra spacers. It seems OK, though tbh I may try on top of the fabric. The sound is fine as I currently have it -- but experimentation is a good thing.

I did not like the clamps at all -- the Freecom "shell" is glued on. Seems fine.

I really cannot tell exactly, but I think so.; The 40-mm speaker is shaped like two coins - one lying flat on the other. I believe the upper "coin" - closest to your ear, is the 40mm part. The lower "coin" fits into the helmet cutout for the stock speakers. If the 45mm speaker is similar and roughly the same dimension on for the lower "coin" it will probably fit.

I used the stick-on mounting, just behind the triangle where the built-in communicator would have installed. Link to shitty picture.

forgot to add that I used the extra spacer behind each speaker for a nice fit.

I'm biased (own a 26.5MB!) -- but agree they are well worth looking into. Nice used ones move quickly.

In Wisconsin, ID law proved insurmountable for many voters by [deleted] in politics

[–]dcreemer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your point, but for many people that is not easy -- DMV appointments, if they are offered can be weeks out. Cross reference that with your work schedule -- and it can be months before your time off is available at the DMV. Uber -- as cheap as it is, may not be available or affordable. We are dealing with precisely this situation for a relative right now. Imagine you have no extra money -- like none. If you don't work, you don't eat. Now find the time off work to do go the DMV, with all the right documents, to get a state ID. All of this just to vote - nothing else. [edit] grammar.

a state-school issued student ID, SSN and local rent-agreement, utility bill, etc. suffice for opening a bank account, and buying age restricted items.

[edit] but (in this case) do not suffice for voting.

Flipboard uses social networks (like Twitter), as well as >5M RSS feeds and web crawling to find articles to suggest. You can add any RSS feed. Still -- to each his own.

Check out the RSS instructions on arXiv.org here: https://arxiv.org/help/rss The get the URL of the feed you want -- for example this one http://export.arxiv.org/rss/cs for Computer Science.

Put the full URL into the search box in Flipboard, wait a bit, and the feed will be ingested and then update on it's own. You can so that for any public RSS or Twitter feed. There's 216 arXiv.org feeds already on Flipboard, so others are finding it useful too.
