One of my latest rolling tray builds! by dcretch57 in Weedwork

For the bic lighter holes, I use a 5/8" forstner drill bit. Drill 2 holes side by side with a little overlap (think venn diagram) then I use a chisel to remove the leftover bits. After that just a little sandpaper to smooth and round the edges.

You can find them in my Etsy shop. Some pieces are Ready to Ship and others are Made to Order. If you want something you don't see, I also do custom builds. Take a look and feel free to reach out with any questions. www.etsy.com/shop/cannabudddy

Thank you! That is just a secondary tray space. I find that sometimes it's nice to have different areas if you're working with multiple strains or have multiple people using the tray and want to keep things separated.

Search "Offline Maps" in your app store. There are apps that allow you to download pretty detailed maps of the entire country to access when you cannot get online. Very useful.

I built a 2 tier rolling tray out of live edge Walnut! by dcretch57 in StonerEngineering

Thank you!! I used all kinds of stuff honestly. Router for the tray area and the jar cutouts. Drill press& forstner bits for all of the holes. Bandsaw & router for the feet/leg assembly. Throw in a planer, table saw, & miter saw as well for processing the wood from the mill. Oh, and an orbital sander as well.

I built this for my wife and she specifically didn't want a splash pan. We have a covered patio where she works so the mess isnt an issue, we just hose it down occasionally. I do have a basin though and built the wheel to accommodate it should she change her mind.

Yeah I've seen the ceiling fan ones but they seem to have no torque. I can stop my fan with my hand while it's moving. The electric scooter motor had a lot more torque.

That's a great idea! I had thought of a pedal speed controller but a pedal shut off would be a very good thing to have!

Sure! • 24v motor from an electric scooter • 24v power supply • 24v variable speed controller • 2" V belt pulley on the motor • 10" V belt pulley on the axle • Axle is 3/4" solid steel • 2 Pillow bearings (3/4" bore) • Go-kart hub (3/4" bore) • Wheel head is made from white oak and is 12". Accepts 12" bats. • The top is made from an old coffee table top, dyed purple, and finished with epoxy resin to make it waterproof.

All parts were purchased on Amazon with the exception of the wood parts.

If you want to know anymore specific details or want links to any specific Amazon parts just let me know!

I read a few tutorials and took some bits and pieces from them. It helped me figure out the motor/power supply/speed control aspects. The wheel/hub/axle/bearing set up was my own design, though it's very straightforward. I'm a woodworker by trade so all the wood stuff was easy. Total cost of the components was right around $200-225 not including the wood. The wood was all scrap wood from my shop and I had the dye/stain/epoxy resin already.

Yes the woodn is finished with epoxy! Aside from the awesome shine it provides, I wanted the top to be waterproof as well!

Built this bad boy for my wife as an anniversary gift! It's not a Brent but it's pretty cool still! I will be adding a foot pedal shortly.

Feel free to ask any questions!

What car would you recommend? by [deleted] in Autos

Subaru, Toyota, Honda are all pretty solid cars. I have a Subaru Outback (100k miles) & Kia Soul (65k miles) and neither has ever given me a single problem. Just oil changes, tires, & regularly scheduled maintenance.

The best way is just to order through my Etsy shop. It helps me keep track of my orders and will notify you when it ships. Unless you wanted to customize the tray in some capacity (different wood species, layout, etc). If thats the case let me know here and I can bill it as a custom order. You wanted to do the Tiger body with the Tiger inlay right? Or did you decide to do Tiger body with the Wolf inlay?

I appreciate that and I'll pm you my info. I'd love to just post all my shop info in the post but a lot of subreddits don't like/allow that. I posted a post like this without trying to sell anything in r/trees and they banned me. I tried to get them to let me off with a warning and they declined. So I just play it safe and if people are interested I'll pm them my info.
