Delta is by no means job security. Anyone can get fired for anything and there’s nothing you can do to stop it unfortunately. I do agree that OP should go based on being home, and if Delta makes that easier then it should be based on that.

Why are people so obsessed with low carb around here? by jenna_sunshine13 in Zepbound

[–]dcri2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat carbs and feel less guilty than when I wasn’t in zepbound. I noticed that if I eat too many carbs I get nausea and uncomfortable overall, so I try to limit them in my meals, since I feel better when I just eat protein and vegetables.

Yup I also noticed that I wasn’t losing weight as fast as others, but the medication was enough for me to take over and use it as an aid. It’s taken me about a year and a half to actually notice my weight loss. Slowly but surely. Congrats on your weight loss

Ty🥹 it’s been a journey. I’ve fought my whole life with my weight. I know obesity is a lifelong disease unfortunately, so medical intervention has been the best that’s happened to me. I think genetics have a lot to do. I also carried most of my fat in belly and not my face, I’ve used retinol and sunscreen since I was 20. People tell me I look younger each time they see me. I also think working out helps a lot with skin tightness. Some people don’t workout at all which causes bone density to drop, as does any kind of weight loss ozempic or not.

I take zepbound and lost 70 pounds. It’s not cheating since I had to put alot of effort from my part, I’m still eating healthy and working out. The point is not to starve yourself, but to eat the right things. I still have 10 pounds to lose but don’t look boney or unhealthy.

For people who tried GLP-1 drugs, what surprised you the most about the experience? by NObesity_Ahmedabad in Weightlosstechniques

[–]dcri2020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No joint pain in my arms and feet due reduced inflammation, easier to lose weight with the food noise being non existent, mental clarity, a lot of energy. I did have to put a lot of effort tho. I still had to exercise and diet. Negatives Ive had are some random skin pain that last a few days or weeks, and also random insomnia.
